The Kings have earned the media's (and other fanbases) skepticism. They've made so many bad mistakes over the years that any time they do anything that isn't the "consensus" they will get bashed. If the Spurs or Thunder had made this pick it wouldn't be as scrutinized because they have good track records in their favor. If the Kings want to get rid of this narrative they need to start winning. There's no way other way to get respect in this league.

Kings are headed to the playoffs this season if they remain healthy.

The key right now is to remain healthy. Their starting five look to be very good. Having a new coach won't hurt either.

The saddest thing is that Murray could become amazing, but I feel his future thru the media will always be tied to Ivey. Imagine if Ivey becomes a superstar like Ja Morant, and Murray is an Al Horford career type player (multiple time all star, consistently good player). They will still say "well ya, Murray is good... But they could have had franchise changing Ivey".

It was truly a lose/lose situation for the Kings in terms of media outlook. If we drafted Ivey they would have said "why take a guy who doesn't want to be there instead of Murray?"

Al Horford is one of the best big men of this generation. Imagine clowning a team because they took Al Horford lol.

The reality is it is tied to winning. Until the Kings begin to win every single thing they do will be scrutinized. If the Kings start winning and Ivey becomes great, no one will bat an eyelash. If the Kings stay an 11th seed and Ivey becomes great and the Pistons compete for the 7th or 8th seed then the Kings will be ridiculed, which they will deserve.

Murray continues to look good in SL.

I'm excited to see him in the regular season.

His patience and his ability to play within himself is HUGE.

Murray is very smooth and deceptively fast. He reminds me of Terry Rozier on the Hornets, only taller.

Yeah. I know. It's Summer League. It means nothing. The thing is, it does. Keegan continues to show up and show his skills that will be the same skills that he will be bringing to the NBA. We must believe that his set of skills is exactly what the Kings need.

Sac Town has a new head coach, and he brings a new attitude to the team. He has fingered and signed some international players that he's familiar with. With the new additions already made last season, the new additions and our new draft pick, KM, the future is looking up! Watch out! Here comes the new Kings!

I really like him. I love his calmness and his demeanor and intensity when he’s playing on the court. I watched a clip of him saying that he wants to be a part of the team that brings the Kings back into the playoffs and I think that is a good leader. Please, do not mess up his development.

I know we got our hands full on our end to develop our guys, I’m hoping that Murray does well for you guys. But, I will boo him when he plays against us. :)

It looks like Murray will be out for the season opener. There are some nasty viruses going around right now, apart from Covid-19. Huerter may also miss the first game with a sore ankle.
