Game 7 Thread - Kings (2-4) @ Heat (3-5)
Solid first half with no Fox. Guard play outside of Huerter hasn't been great but Sabonis gets through the half with zero fouls.

This is why I don't care about Davion. He just isn't consistent. Hopefully he can put a stamp on the last 3 minutes, but he's been bad. Monk a welcome effort tonight!

Tough shot from Herro, tough loss but we played a good game. Monk was good but goodness is his handle bad. Cost us some big possessions down the stretch.

Heart breaking loss. Miami raised the defense and hit some really impressive shots. Kings have a long dry spell offensively. Murray missed some ones he's made all season, really tough luck.
Feels like these are the ones they have to win if they want to be good. Miami on 2nd night of back to back, no Jimmy. Really sucks that we got nothing from davion until the final 3 minutes, nothing from murray, and monk only played 22 minutes. No reason he shouldn't have stayed in earlier when he was scorching.

Ya.. usually when he touches the ball I want an instant drive, shot, or pass. With fox out he was asked to make more plays than he should have. Still a nice effort and would have liked to see him get more minutes.codydaze wrote:Tough shot from Herro, tough loss but we played a good game. Monk was good but goodness is his handle bad. Brown's rotations still haven't been great, hopefully we find the right combinations soon.
On that last play, I would have liked to just blitz that screen and get the ball out of Herro's hands, he had been feeling it that whole fourth quarter. If anything, Keegan should have been on the floor to take that switch, would have liked his length for defense there.

Great effort and some really impressive, smooth Princeton-style offense. A lot of it flowed through Sabonis, who nearly had a triple-double. Monk was getting to the rim, in part because Sabonis and company were setting picks. But it's really hard to win on the road in a close one like this.
You can see why the team signed Dellavedova as an insurance policy.

Re: Game 7 Thread - Kings (2-4) @ Heat (3-5)
Mike Brown really stepped up after the game last night. Asking how the refs ignored the blatant contact on Barnes, then no-called the Herro travel on the game winner.
There was a point in the 4th where momentum was going Kings way. Suddenly a 3 in the key, carrying call by Monk, and then off-ball offensive foul. It's just interesting that any game you watch you can point those out a dozen times, but they choose to wait until the 4th and momentum going Sac way to make those 3 calls in a row.
Its just frustrating at this point. For once I'd like us to not be leading the league in the L2M report.

I missed it at the time, but on the replay the travel is pretty obvious:

I was happy to see Sabonis hitting 4 huge ft after his earlier struggles.

And yet there it is, a blown call acknowledged by the NBA.

Yet again nothing will be done to correct these issues. "Just a bang bang call, so hard to get it right!" Yet seems to always go against sac lmaoeuphorbus wrote:RipPizzaGuy wrote:Its just frustrating at this point. For once I'd like us to not be leading the league in the L2M report.
