What was up with booing Buddy?

I didn't understand it either. I get he was a scapegoat but they treated him like he was Bagley. Just know I was not a part of that behavior.

I feel bad for Buddy he didn't deserve that

Pretty stock standard game apart from the hype.
EC pretender is a pretender and the Kings dismantled them quite easily.

Fox waited to exert his touch on the game too late IMO. Didn't hurt the team at all, but prefer to instigate the potency of the offence.
Think he is banged up a little more than what you would like and he isn't going to sit.
Anyway, Sabonis dominant again, the usual suspects turned it up again and Davion keeps pressuring for more minutes with his all round play.

What a game to be at! Crowd was electric off the jump. Monk/TD/mitchell/metu bring so much energy off the bench, all of them were great tonight! Fox started slow but was able to do whatever he wanted once he started trying. Awesome team win! My first time seeing the beam!!

he did stupid crap like that with the lakers as well. he wanted out publicly on multiple occasions

Eh, I mean the writing was on the wall for his future in Sac and the fanbase wasn't super great to him so I don't mind his comments too much. Like City of Trees said, I get a little booing during intros but every touch was a bit excessive. He didn't deserve the Bagley treatment in my opinion.

I feel like some of us kings fans having memory loss when it comes to buddy. This dude was a punk his last few years. It was a welcome sight to see the boos. Hali got a huge cheer to start, kings fans remember real!

I don't think he deserved the whole game, but IMO the majority haha. BUT then the crowd should have stood and applauded him for being the Kings' AT 3pt shooter as he walked off the floor for the last time for the night.

Oh, I'm going to add. The HB 15+ stat (now what 7-1 when he is 15+ points) should be expanded to the HB/KM stat. KM is playing the same role as HB, essentially, and they've both been a roller coaster, but I think only 1 of them needs to score on a nightly basis (due to differing looks etc). When HB isn't there KM needs to be 15+ and vice versa. What do you think?

Agreed. Buddy was free to do whatever he wanted in Sacramento and wanted out which is fair to want out, complained about his contract but doesn't mean he isn't going to be boo'd when he returns.

Buddy was opening pouting throughout the last couple of years with the Kings. His attitude declined and his play detonated as well. The whole contract saga with him was pretty annoying too. He was doing the "show me the money" hand gestures in Vlade's face during a game lol

I'm not bothered with the boos to Buddy.
