Demar looking tough as hell. He's ready to be a great addition to the team from the jump

Keegan with a tough move he wouldnt have made last year

Jones and McDaniels two of the first three off the bench... are we more shallow than I thought?

They shouldn't be in the rotation in a couple weeks

edit - Jones and McDaniels miss their first shots

Colby Jones still looking like a scrub and plateauing is concerning because he is really the only one of these garbage minute players that has a long term contract, but Boogie Ellis carrying over the SL play so far

edit - Actually only next year is guaranteed for Colby, I thought we gave him like a 4-5 year guarantee a season back

and I hope there was a reason for McDaniels/Jones coming off the bench so early, because they don't look contributing. Get better by regular season Huerter and Lyles

Colby had a nightmare game. Followed by McDaniels and Skal.

I really like Isaac Jones and think he can develop into a solid rotational piece. He's a big, strong dude and does a lot of the little stuff that won't show up in the box score. Really impressed with his game, you could see it in summer league that he had some talent.

I didn't really like Demar's age at the time of the trade, but he looks nothing like 35 out there, and I guess he is just as good or better than someone like Ingram and Kuzma, maybe on/off the floor, who you would need at least a first for, not just a swap.

Since it doesn't look like there will be too much activity this preseason, I'll just change the topic to Preseason.

DeRozan looking like the right choice. I'm as amped for this season as I think I've been in terms of expectations. Keegan looking great, Keon looking somewhat posed last night.

Keon looks good he has 6 assits which is great he is attacking off the catch and punishing close outs between that and what looks like a good jumper he’ll be a very good starter for us.

I think Derozan looks amazing the offense if free flowing and they are clicking very early despite not hitting a lot of threes

Keegan looks like a stud his man defense will be all nba now he looks improved at team defense. He’s looking very aggressive on offense as well taking it to the rim off the dribble just need his three point shot to return

Part of the problem is Keon

If he’s going to be not good at offense to the degree he isn’t a real player. Not a Huerter fan, but we are getting to him back to starting

This game looks like a L already.

We will see if there will be any preseason residue when regular season starts.

As of right now, it does not look good.

I don’t think ellis survives starting and we need to make a move sooner than later if this continues in the regular season.

Cam Johnson: Elite shooter that can provide Huerter level shooting with above average defense defending 1-3 and most PF’s.

Grant Williams: Good shooter can defend 2-5 and play small ball center if he starts would allow us to have size with Sabonis/Keegan/Williams front court

Obviously I hope I’m wrong and Ellis plays the way he did last year and his shooting can improve but we’re not beating good teams laying bricks out there especially when it looks like Keegan might not shoot like his rookie year

Return to Sacramento Kings
