What an impressive performance. 14/12 with a +16. Think they missed some stats too, just like last nights offensive boards.

He and Keon on the floor together really make things tough for the opponent. Both do so many little things that don't show up in box scores but impact the game.

Tonight I was screaming at Doug for not benching derozan. About 5 mins later I was praising him for not benching derozan lol.

Have we found our coach of the future? He matches the grit this team needs. He recognizes game situation, he adjusted when we needed and called proper timeouts. He empowers guys like Keegan and Keon to keep shooting instead of having short leashes on them. I'm so sold.

Keegan was phenomenal. Let's not forget those huge baseline rebounds over Herro. I hope this is a game that gets Keegan back on track. 2 good games shooting the ball.

Absolutely. And I think what is great is what Doug did right there in the 2nd is put Keon onto JJJ, who bullied everyone on the Kings, and he proved he could keep him relatively quiet. Both made far bigger impacts IMO on the opposite player.

Okay. The votes for this game for mine go to.
3 Votes: Keon Ellis - Just a great effort game with 3 stls and a blk. Shut down JJJ and hit some massive buckets.
2 Votes: Domantis Sabonis - Yawn. Just a Triple Double for the Big D. Speaking of D, he played some decent stuff! Was incredible inside and made it tough on Bam. 21/18/11 against an All NBA defensive guy, for the last 5 YEARS!
1 Vote: Keegan Murray - Defensively unbelievable game. Shot the crap out of the ball, but 5 offensive rebounds along with his D etc just shows how much he means to this teams' success.

Incredible win.

Ellis was fantastic.

We still have him cheap next season thank goodness.

I doubt that. They need to knock back that team option in order to sign him long term.
4/$36m if he can handle starting SG duties for the rest of the season, but we all know he won't get that oppo. But I'm sure they don't want to let him get to UFA.

It was a tough opponent playing balls out d on a back to back… would need to see more without Fox, but not dissuaded by my original take monk is more of a playmaker.. and him and Keon or Devin starting with a Fox return of trade..

It's going to be a tough opponent on limited rest every night in the playoffs. I love Monk more than the next guy, and arguably he is more of a playmaker than Fox. But we saw what Fox did to GS during the playoffs. A consistent riser in the half court when we need a bucket. Derozan stepped up last night, but he also is 35 and isn't the long term answer for that spot.

Keon should start as long as he is a King. Monk should be the 6th man. If you can upgrade Huerter and picks to a true starting forward you move Derozan to the bench. If you upgrade Huerter to a backup big he stays starting. Either scenario is fine

Fox - Keon - Derozan - Keegan - Sabonis
Monk - Carter - Lyles - Huerter Trade

Fox - Keon - Keegan - Huerter trade - Sabonis
Monk - Carter - Derozan - Lyles

Our bench sucked all year. Either of those benches competes for best in the league.

Well, now Fox back as a starter will be a big step back. There is a place for him only on the bench. Monk is much better.
