Game 74: Kings (36-37) @ Magic (35-39)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:04 pm

Kings head on the road after finishing out the home stand with a win over Portland. First stop is Orlando to play a young Magic team where will he have to compete against some skilled size up front with Franz/Paolo/WCJ. We are 1-0 in the 5 game stretch that I said we'll need to finish 4-1 to have some confidence in clinching a play-in berth. It continues in an early start today where we need another win.

Well, I guess 4-1 is still technically doable.

Get ready to be blown on by Hali Monday. Then we will proceed to blow out g-league Wizards/Hornets fighting for #1 pick, and Kings fans can tell me i'm a hater for not believing in this roster lol.

Off-season can't come soon enough boys!

Looking at the rest of the schedule they have to beat the Pacers. They will either miss the playoffs or get the 10th spot.

I couldn't watch much of this. Could only watch the 1st half against the Blazer as going away for the weekend and came home to watch this late, but just couldn't bear to watch the 2nd half. Just a disaster.

It doesn't look like Doug will work out... I was rooting for you buddy... But the interim status coach will be dealt with before we even know what we have. The energy and system are off, and that points to a team not playing for someone

Demar, I've been a fan, but he has zero fit with Domas or in the starting lineup... Do I think he can still provide bench spark? Sure.. But it's actually on Christie moving Monk instead of him to the bench

Lavine starting to scare me... This is two low motor appearing guards in a row... Only difference is he still manages efficiency being it.. If its between his contract and Fox's, Fox had no fit here as a non spacing, inefficient guard who couldn't play offf ball, and I still see a world where this guy can be an efficient small forward.. The only thing keeping me off the edge with him, is his play in Sacramento has been different than in Chi so may be some external factors going on. But I dont blame Monte for the idea, he was very good in Chicago, so I doubt monte goes anywhere this summer - overall ive liked most moves

Games like this for Keon are depressing, need some weight this off season.

Domas, who has been key the last few years, has been nothing post trade.... I still want to see what another coach can do... Get Demar out of the starting lineup and get some movement back

Talent still is fine on paper, but we at this point need change in the helm before I look to move the greatest King of the last decade.

Lavine was a huge mistake. We owe him almost 100 million over the next two seasons. If he is going to take 8 shots & were getting blown out we have a Lavine problem.
