Their trying to compete against the wind, and want to sell tickets..
On the other hand I didn't mind the signing given the backup pg landscape. It's not a talented landscape and most run of the mill backup pgs aren't giving you anything, Russ at least has a noted mentality that might or might not rub off. Thats assuming you needed another pg, they apparently dont think too highly of Malik or Devin's handling (Devin is a straight SG tho)

This is nothingburger. The Nuggets Westbrook at a vet-min is one of the best contracts in the league when he's playing 15-20 minutes as 8th-9th man off the bench.
