Trade with ChiTown?

Post#1 » by clank » Mon Jan 21, 2008 5:24 pm

new member here, longtime Kings fan, prior ticket holder from the mid eighties>>Is there anyway we could swing a deal to get Noah or TT?? Their game seems to fit what the Kings need moving to the future.
Chitown is in the east race for playoffs and would potentially seem to be willing to give up bigmen prospects if in return they got a player that would put them back in to the upper tier east mix (bibby/artest).
Out on the bulls site it seems thier is a feeling of poor point play from their team. Would thir be anyway to pkg. Bibby for 1 of their young bigs??
thx

It seems like Kirk Hinrich's game hasn't developed like I thought it would as I was pretty big on him out of Kansas. He would have to come back in the deal but is Bibby worth Noah/TT + Hinrich? I don't think the Bulls fans go for that unless they bring in like Pau Gasol.

Just as an I told ya so Joe Smith is ballin' this year. I said we should have got him three years ago AND he's cheaper than Mikki Moore.

what about a Artest for TT, Duhon and Khryapa deal? It checks out.
Provides bulls with a real 2/3/4 stopper which anyone could use during playoff run. i noticed a thread about a TT for maggette trade but I would think artest would be a stepup.
Having TT grow  up with hawes could be good in a few years.

I think any Artest ----> Bulls trade would be contingent, (as would any Artest trade at this point), on the idea of how much of a contender that team is.

I'd love to get either but the Bulls are really set at PG and SF, so I don't see it happening--at least not in a 2-way deal.

And Hinrich is a hell of a player that is just having a bad year. It happens.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Artest to the Bulls....it would be fun to watch Artest and Ben Wallace on the same team (what's the over/under on fights???) I would imagine that with Big Ben, Artest to the Bulls is a big No regardless of who is involved.

well if the bulls want to win "now",you never know what they might do. I don't think they are overly thrilled with Wallace these days and having a
serious dee stopper would help them make a possible run. Anyways Artest & Wallace are cool now>>>whats past is past>>> I think Chitown would actually imbrace Da likes of Artest...we need a young active big with skills to build with.... and having Duhon supports a potential bibby move if 1 arises...
