LMAO @ KNICKS !!!

Post#1 » by RIPskaterdude » Tue Feb 12, 2008 7:29 pm

Another source told ESPN.com that the New York Knicks made overtures recently indicating they were willing to trade centers Eddy Curry and Jerome James for Artest and Thomas, but the Kings were balking at taking on the remaining two years and $12.8 million owed to James.

Are they serious?!?

Funny thing is, some Knick fans are AGAINST THE DEAL

well the only ones who are against the deal are the ones who

A- want cap space (kenny thomas negates that)

or

B - want a top 3 pick (which artest would help negate that)

Or the ones that think we should throw in Moore instead of KT to make it more appealing to the Knicks

of course that would be more appealing to the knicks... it is shorter than KT's contract..

And you expect us to take JAMES and CURRY?!!?

What is appealing to the Kings in that deal?!

I could even see taking on Curry and Randolph - at least they have SOME value if they end up being as big of losers in the West as they are on the Knicks (I have a suspiscion that environment could be an issue there).

But JEROME FREAKIN' JAMES?!?!?!?!?!

I'd rather sit on KT until he expires.

If we're gambling I'd like to gamble on Z-Bo. However I'd rather not gamble. If we're going to deal with the Knicks it should be SAR + Thomas for their crap. That's it.

trade

if this really was discussed wich i doubt if we were not going to get a young talent such as lee i would consider the following

artest & k9 for curry and m.rose though i still would likely pass still but if i were going to take a bad contract for k9 that does not expire early i would do m.rose for k9 because at least his contract ends a year earlier

i would never ever let jerome james ever become a king again !
he sucks not to mention he is a cancer for any organization !

Pretty sure they would balk at the Curry part by itself. It make absolutely no sense for the Kings to trade for him. With Miller and now Hawes I don't think we need to get another C, let alone a very well paid one. However, the value isn't all that bad. Curry is good value on a talent for talent basis.

Curry REGULARLY grabbing 4 rebounds is the problem with him. That's are achilles heal as a team. Eddy Curry makes Brad Miller look like Dennis Rodman on the boards.

skaterdude beat me to it... I would keep K9 with a smile over James. Curry I dont know... I like him but his defense is just bad enough for me to say no...He could be the leagues best back up center though..

I dont know just DO SOMETHING.
