Ron played really well on both ends. Just so fun to watch.

Kevin didn't go well from the field - but was active in getting to the line quite a bit. Good to see for sure.

Moore played his best game in a bit. 12 rebounds! 7 offensive.

Beno tailed off later in the 2nd half, but still played impressively well. Certain shots he made tonight were amazing.

Brad played below-average.

This team needs a win pretty soon, lol, been a rough stretch

No comment on when Dallas needed a bucket they threw it into Dirk and he delivered? Guarded by none other than our favorite Ron Artest? And THEN when Ron went back at Dirk he wasn't looking to hot? Oh but when Josh Howard was on him (and I've seen in person Josh Howard wipe the floor with Artest) Artest was on fire?

You don't want to include any of that in your post game wrap up? No? You think I'm going to forget? In a few weeks someone's going to say Artest should be the 4 and I'm going to tell you guys again it won't work. Just this time don't get stats that are two years old (especially when the teams have played about 10 times since then).

Yeah I remember that arguement and I agree with you. Ron shouldn't be playing PF. Neither should Mikki(in fact he should play at all). The line up should be Beno/Money/Artest/Williams/Miller(or Hawes).

There are certain situations and match-ups where Ron at the 4 makes sense. But he is not a permanent solution at that position. With any luck Williams will develop into that solution, but that will take time.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Artest works at the 4 the majority of the time IMO, but Dirk is a terrible matchup for him. Ron can easily stay in front of him but he's just not long enough to bother his shot. All Dirk has to do is turn and fade and its an open look for him.

Nah I don't think it usually works. It doesn't work against the Spurs, the Lakers, the Mavs, the Suns, etc. The teams it does work against like Denver, Houston, why would we want Ron at PF then anyway? We should want him on guys like McGrady and Melo. The only reason Ron plays PF is so crappy ass Salmons can get his PT. It's a garbage idea that needs to stop being tried.

^ Exactly. By playing Artest at the 4 you take away what gives him his advantage. He has the foot speed, length, and height of all the elite SF with the power of a PF. When matched up with a PF he doesn't have a power advantage nor does he have the length to compete. Nowitzki backed down Artest a couple of times with ease.

Artest can play the 4 against the teams backup PF, but that's as far as I'm willing to take it. As an SF he's a top 5 all around player in that position. As a PF he's just an average/above average player.

It's funny, if there is one guy that I have no doubt anymore about Ron not effecting whatsoever on defense it's Dirk. Since he's been here Dirk seems to not be effected at all. Or if he is, Ron doesn't have all that much to do with it.
