What, you don't think we can come back from 30 down?

Neither do I...make Shelden and Williams earn their stripes against Amare and Shaq (assuming they even play the 2nd half).

So, I wonder what Kings team will show up tomorrow night and which scrub on the Raptors will completely own us.

Can't say the result is all that unexpected. The Suns are one of the elite teams and they showed tonight why they deserve that recognition. They also have the athletic, fast-paced style of play that we can't compete against. This game was not so much us not doing enough to win as it was just getting beat soundly by a much better team.

Not letting a team shoot 60% would have been a good start...

We're a really bad defensive team...this just adds to the evidence of that.

Hopefully one in which Shelden and Spencer get 20-30 minutes for. And Douby too. Enough with the trying to "compete" crap. The starters had their shot enough with the bull**** already!

I actually think this game is also one in which our lazy D lately finally caught up with us.

I didn't get to see the game. How was shelden's defense? Is he going to be a possible good option down the line.

Neither Hawes or Shelden played particularly good defense tonight. But I am not going to use tonight as any kind of a basis for judging them for the future. I want to see what kind of devotion they have to conditioning this summer, how they play in summer league and how motivated they are coming into camp before projecting what they will do for the future. I will admit that I already think Hawes has shown a lot of promise and a lot to be encouraged about. I just hope that Shelden will end up giving us reasons to have similar hope.

No surprise here, we don't have enough fire power to beat run n gun team on the road, and expecting a better effort from thewe don't enough have defense to hold them out, but still

Yeah, I expected the loss (in a competitive terms) but not to this magnitude (Eh, a loss is a loss)...Anyways, for obvious reasons, we cant compete against run n gun teams...We are good against half court teams...Anyways, the effort was blah...Other then Martin (1st quarter), Artest, Moore, Hawes and etc..We are are playing little effort....IMO Miller seems the culprit of this. He had a great season this year but it seems like he packed it in early....

Seems like as soon as the trade deadline passed, he kinda gave up on the season (whether it's him being tired, injures, or just not caring anymore). I wish we could have traded him to Orlando for expirings/1st :dontknow:

It could also be that injuries are catching up with him. When you look at his emotion out on the floor, he still is playing with the same fire he had earlier in the season. For some reason he his just not getting the job done. I don't think it is him "packing it in"...I think it is his body not being able to take the beating it has been receiving.
