What do you know, Shelden played and the world didn't collapse in on itselft. ;)

Strange, in the box score it says Shelden had 0 blocks. I saw at least 3 I thought. What's up with that???

Artest is a beast.

His last 15 games:
24 points on 48% FG

To be fair, there have also been times where Kevin's attempt to draw a foul has hurt him, and forced him into a bad shot.

Winnable indeed!

Fun team win

Ron's intentions were good to Mikki on that last play, but the pass was just some too high from him. You could tell Ron knew he messed up afterwards. But, thankfully we got back defensively in transition and then got up well on T-Mac and made him take a tough shot.

I definitely liked Shelden's play tonight, he was a factor numerous times on defense (and probably some more from what I didn't see in the third qtr). Now, I want to see Shelden get rewarded with some decent minutes next game. That will be very interesting to see what the follow-up is going to be from Reggie. This also goes back to what he said earlier in the season, "Who defends, will play" something like that, and Shelden's play tonight was relative to that statement. Aside from that, the general situation of Shelden filling in for Brad.

I loved Theus' comment after the game about how Shelden is out of shape. He looks his feet is stuck in mud and he can barely get off the ground. I think if he works hard on his game this summer and comes in 20 pounds lighter he'll be much more productive.

Yeah.

But, Reggie did credit his play tonight, right?

Did he really said he looks like his feet is stuck in mud and can barely get off the ground? I heard the part about Shelden not being in good shape but didn't really hear what Reggie said after that.

So, I went to the Game last night and saw a few things to comment about. First, I dont think Sheldon Williams is our power forward of the future. However, I think if he can lose about 20 pounds by next season and get in shape he could be a key player off the bench playing 20 to 25 minutes. He does a pretty good job of getting rebounds. However, he has fumble fingers. There was a few outlet passes to him that he screwed up. Next, while Ron Ron had a huge game, I think he tried to isolate himself a little too much. I understand he thinks that he can score at will, but the offense just gets sluggish when this happens. This really showed in the 2nd and 3rd quarters were there was only 7 asst. Overall, I think this team is a player away from competing in the league. I think the player is a bigman.

Yup. We need some more talent on defense and offense up front. Need to get a balanced and compatabile PF/C situation going sooner or later. Also that is what should be wanted!

PG I'm not concerned about, Beno may be around again, and then somebody who's better (from the draft in the next 2-3 years). Easier to get, too.

Good job beating the bag out of Houston, dealing them another piece of humble pie. I like the Kings and hope they get back to contention soon.

We could use a PF like Jermaine O'neal IMO.

I like JO but he is deteriorating pretty fast. He is averaging 15/7/2/2. Shooting around the ~44%... I like his defense but you have to consider his age and contract...IMO...

He was playing injured though. He's still not that old and he doesn't have too many miles on him for a guy who came out of HS considering he barely played when he was in Portland. He is working KG in this Celtics/Pacers game on ESPN right now. He wouldn't need to be the franchise guy here and get 20 PPG either. We have Martin, Artest, and Hawes for that. We could use his D and rebounding though, and he is a good offensive player.

Yeah, he is playing injured. I understand that. But he is still an overpaid player...Which he gets injured constantly... When healthy, he is worth the money but you dont get to that half for the whole season...So, thus it is not worth it IMO... Eh, I dont know. He could fit I guess but knowing his issues (Age, injured plagued, and contract)...So ehh....But I wont mind him though...(If we dont give up Martin and/or Artest).

JO has really been plagued by injuries,if you want to have a player like JO go with Okafor instead. He may not be as good offensively as JO but he has a defensive presence in him and is younger.
