His defense isn't bad at all. He doesnt have great D, but I like him more for his leadership and true point guard skills.

Well, without the size that gives Deron so many advantages.

So, would you like the Kings to draft him?

I certainly wouldn't mind, I just think it's foolish to compare him to Deron without acknowledging one of the aspects that makes Deron so good that Augustin just doesn't have.

Deron has 2 or 3 inches on DJ and a few more pounds, but I still do think they play a similar style of PG.

More like about 4 inches, which is pretty huge, especially at PG. There are styles are kind of similar I guess. But the point is that Derons superior size over other PG's is a big part of why he can get to the basket so easily, finish so well and why he has great court vision. It's a big advantage for him. For DJ, it's a disadvantage.

I dont think size helps with court vission.

My bad, hes listed at 6-3. I didnt think he was that tall...

My mistake.

You know, now that I think about it I would be disappointed if we draft a smallish/average PG (so we are probably doomed to!). Could we use one? Sure. But, there are just too many long athletic players to pass up and we need more of those than anything else.

^You could be right, you never know how players are going to play in the NBA. If we go with a PG, I just would rather us have DJ more than any of the other guys that mite be available.

I wouldnt mind having Anthony Randolph or Donte Green though, after looking at there scouting reports.

Will I be able to sign up for a simleague in the near future?

Do you know of any other sites that you can do this?

Would I be on the DJ Augustin bandwagon, if I wanted to draft other players instead of him. (Even though, I like DJ). If Westbrook and Arthur are not available, I want Augustin for the #12...
