I never got any response on this and am curious what you all think.
We dont need the draft to fix our long term PG problems. So first we need to sign Udrih 3-5 years. Then work a trade with NJ for Marcus Williams. I see him being the next Kidd. He had a chance already to sit and learn under Kidd the last 2 seasons and I think will be really good down the road. He isnt a great scorer but has all the intangibles you look for in a PG. He and Udrih would be great combo. And eventually he would take over the offense full time and Udrih could go back to his natural role position.
Also I think we need to somehow get Portlands 1st rd pick this year. They dont need another young guy and we have some decent pieces I think could work for them and give them some veteran help that they sorely need. Then we can go Arthur and Hibbert 12 and 13 and we are set for the future up front.
Or maybe Love instead of Hibbert but Im not completley sold on Love yet

I am not too sure on Marcus being our pg for the future. I would give Douby but not much else, not a big fan of that. I would rather trade for TJ Ford. I like the idea of signing Beno, if we land a young pg who can run the show then we can always trade Beno, many teams wouldn't mind having him. Trade with Portland? Maybe depending on what we have to give up. Go after Arthur? I hope so, he is the one I am targeting at this point in time. Go after Hibbert? Hell no, I want no part of him. And Love? I'll pass. Unless we have a Beno/Ford pg rotation then I would most likely use Portland's pick on a pg.
