Regardless of his "off court problems," (which are overly exaggerated) Ron brings a different dimension to this team. Something that no other player in the ENTIRE LEAGUE brings. No he is not a top notch offensive player, but just with his skill set alone, it makes him a top player. Thats just on the offensive side of the court. Defensively...it should be well known what he brings. So IMO Ron Artest is easily a top 5 SF in this league with his overall abilities. Just because there are other players out there who can average 25 to 30 a game doesnt make them a better player than ron artest. If you want to compete for a championship Ron can easily be a part of that. I really like john salmons as a starter, just as most do, but Ron is a piece to move forward with if you want to compete. Yes he is a beast. Not many can have such a dramatic effect on a game as him...
