Yeah, I agree with SacTown Kings. I do honestly believe if Sheldon lose weight and gain more experience, he will be a good player IMO. Sheldon could be a solid player...

This is reminding the whole Brad Miller issue last year. People were writing him out. They said "He's done" etc...But I was still support in Brad ALL the way. And look what he did this year. He averaged close to his all star #'s.

So, I will do the same for Sheldon. If he does work on his game over the summer and lose some weight, he will be a solid player and a player that we need. Post presence...

Yeah, I know and I was afraid that someone will bring up that point...Umm, Sheldon is still young and still has "some" upside left IMO. So, hopefully, this summer will work wonders for Sheldon... :D

Yeah and I beleive that if we all hold hands and sing Kumbaya that Islamo-facists will stop attempting to terrorize western civilization.

Actually losing weight might help him. One of the reasons he looked bad was because his mobility wasn't as good as it should be and so he got blocked, didn't jump high enough for the rebound, etc. If the guy changes his body and adds some skills that actually changes something.

Singing changes nothing(unless it gets out a public message). So bad example there man.

I'm just not high on Shelden at all, never have been. I agree losing weight helps and what not, but I just don't think the guy has the mental capacity to be a good NBA player. At best I see him being a 3rd/4th rotation big on a bad team.

Eh I think he could be a decent 3rd big man for a decent/good team. It depends on if he loses the weight though. Brad lost weight last season and he went from being a pile of crap to back to a top 10 C.

Shelden wasn't in very good shape last year, that is something he will hopefully work on this summer. It's very difficult to stay in game shape when you rarely play as was the case for him in Atlanta.

Also, I don't think anyone is really overrating what Shelden is capable of. I think if given starters minutes he is a possible double-double guy, that will put up numbers similar to an Al Horford. His role is mainly defense and rebounding and that is without question something he is capable of now IMO.
