Barbosa?
What could we offer in return? I know they were interested in salmons when he was a free agent. I would love to have barbosa at the point next to kevin. We would have the quickest backcourt in the league.

Re: Barbosa?
Barbosa is not a point guard and is not an adequate defender. He has limited play-making ability like an the average off-guard would (handling the ball, making easier passes). I also don't like Barbosa's overall toughness as a player, has been clutch later in his career, though (but that's just a partial factor of having toughness). Barbosa is also a limited finisher at the basket, he doesn't have solid elevation or body control and lacks strength. Barbosa is still not consistent or that proven in the half-court (creating his shot).
Barbosa is good and best for what he is, which is an undersized off-guard scorer that plays better in transition situations (fast-break, semi-break), and making relatively easy shot oppurtunities. Tends to struggle against solid defensive teams and balanced/bigger teams.
We don't need him starting next to Kevin, let alone having him in general IMO. I'd rather have Douby continue to get an increased oppurtunity. Also I think Barbosa is somehwat overpaid for what he can do and has shown so far.
And in the argument of the "Princeton offensive system PG" for Barbosa because he's not a true-style of PG - there are better options, if we would go that route long-term.
I just wouldn't trade anybody who is significant on our team for Barbosa. Especially not John Salmons who is a better overall player on both sides of the ball.
