Thanks for the links. I remember watching knowing it was rigged, but after watching it again it was even worse than I thought. Funny part is the Lakers still almost lost even with the refs rigging the game.

Man, that was painful. On a happier note, it reminded me of just how f**king good Chris was. I watched the guy for the last 10 or so years of his career, and still seeing some of those passes (just in that one game) left my jaw on the floor. Your PF should not be able to do that.

But as for the officiating, it's just amazing. And it's even worse when you put it in the context of the time. Like a couple of the handchecks called on us look normal now because handchecks are now more frequent than they were back then. But those simply were not fouls back then. But even then, those don't compare to the fast breaks where Mike and Bobby got hacked with no call, or the Kobe elbow on Bibby. There has just never been anything like this.

Sad, really really sad, the Kings were blatantly rubbed from their title in Sacramento and there is nothing that can be done about it, not even blame the responsible for this.
Just goes to show how awesomely great this team was, that level of basketball execution was never played elsewhere.

I know you guys were robbed of the title but Portland was robbed of at least 2 and maybe 4 titles Aldelman is the best coach in the NBA and gets no respect he alone should have 3. I have been one of the conspericy guys since the 80's and all this does is back what I have thought for almost 30 years . Burn in he!! Strern!
