2 differnt trade proposals.
Sacremento could use some front court help, as well as some rebounding....Knicks need to get under the cap before 2010/2011...also with drafting Gallinari...we have a glut at PF...and D'antoni wants Gallinari to be our PF of the future...and Lee is our only trading chip we really have.
Balkman may be able to be put into a deal possibly, Nate more then likely not, Chandler most definatly not.
Here are my proposals
New York Knicks Trade:
PF-Zach Randolph(inside scorer with a good jumpshot, very good rebounder...Selfish at times)
PF- David Lee (Great Rebounder, Good inside , Hustle player, can score with both hands, good passer, unselfish)
PG-Mardy Collins (Probably the best perimiter/1 v 1 defender on the knicks, good rebounder...Needs to improve his jumpshot.
Sacremento Trades:
C-Brad Miller
Pf-Kenny Thomas
Trade 2:
New York Knicks trade:
PF- Zach Randolph
PF- David Lee
PG- Mardy Collins(Said u guys need a pg, i dont think mardy is your solition...but he is a good defender, and a good rebounder, could be decent as the 2nd or 3rd pg off the bench...possibly could blossom into a starter ..who knows he is young)
Sacremento Trades
PF Kenny Thomas
Pf Shareef Abdul Raheem
Any possible way Sacremento does any of these? If Sacremento wants to win now...then i see these being good moves for you, you win when it comes to the Talent standpoint...but will be taking on some more salery for an extra year. (Zach has one more year then Kenny/Raheem/Miller)

So misinformed I wouldn't even know where to start if I really wanted to explain why neither trade makes a lick of sense for the Kings.

Sorry but we don't want ANYTHING about Zach Randolph. He is completely opposite that we need at the PF position.

So your argument is we need to improve our frontcourt. In your deal ALL Frontcourt players are involved and we take back LESSER overall players in the process? Why do you think we would EVER consider this.

We dont want Randolph.
David Lee is someone we would love to have. PG is also a position we need, if Beno does go somewhere else. A deal with those two points could possibly be done, but I also think we would be shipping Ron NY's way as well.

We don't need more frontcourt players now that we have Jason Thompson. If we trade Brad IMO we get a PG.

Um...what? how do u call Randolph and Lee a downgrade over Kenny thomas and Shareef?
Shareef is always injured...Kenny is trash.
Miller is still ok i guess..but he is really old now and is nowhere as good a player as he was.
You get 2 double double type players in the the deal...and Randolph could be an allstar in the right situation

So what's your basis for doing the deal?
Why would you want someone that is always injured + trash?

Any deal with Randolph coming anywhere near the Kings is a big no.

Randolph's contract kills this deal, binds it, ties it to a bag of bricks, and dumps it in the river.

I dont...this trade is made so the knicks can save money for the 2010 season...and so we can clear up some space for our younger players
Randolph takes up playing time from Chandler/Gallinari...possibly balkman if he stays.
You guys get a huge upgrade in talent...take on some extra money...but that could push you over the top to become a playoff contending team. Kevin Martin cant handle the scoring load by himself, and IMO Artest is better off as the 3rd or 4rth option then a 2nd. This way he isnt wasting energy on the offensive side of the ball.
You get a low post threat...who can take players off the dribble and shoot the midrange shot...and extend to 3pt range....also youg et 2 double double players.
Randolph is a very good player, but doesnt fit the system...and his contract is too long for us

Well, that is basically Petrie's goal right now for the Kings...to get into a financial situation where he can be a player in the 2010 FA market. Why would he sacrifice his goal just to help Donnie Walsh achieve that goal?

In case you didn't get the memo, the Kings are rebuilding. Being a playoff contender is not a major priority right now.

Well, we may have just drafted that kind of player...we'll just have to wait and see.

Which is exactly why he has zero value for the Kings.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.
