IND/SAC

I would think you guys need a point guard judging off your current roster, and thought maybe this is one of the places he might make sense.

Incoming Players
Jamaal Tinsley
6-1 PG from Iowa State

Outgoing Players
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
6-9 PF from California

G MIN FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% FTM-A FT% OFF DEF TOT STL BLK TO PF AST PTS
Season 39 33.3 176-463 .380 40-141 .284 72-100 .720 0.6 3.0 3.6 1.69 .26 3.33 2.49 8.4 11.9
Career 398 30.2 1560-3946 .395 340-1108 .307 684-959 .713 0.8 2.7 3.4 1.66 .32 2.88 2.70 7.0 10.4

Negaatives : unhappy, plays defense only when inspired, "injury prone" (some questionable)
Poitives : His stats dont lie. Excellent ball handler, on the fast break,he can post up, he averaged over 8 assists this year. I know everything said about him is mostly negative , but Pacer fans have also seen him at his best. He has this year, plus next year, then he is an expiring contract. I dont know Rahim's contract but either him or Thomas.

Beno Udrih/Sean Singletary...I'm content with our PG situation especially since Douby, Garcia, Salmons, Ron can all bring the ball up as well in spot minutes.

With Beno locked in, Singletary drafted and both Salmons & Garcia able to play spot minutes at PG, I don't see the Kings even considering Jamaal Tinsley

I'm not familiar with Singletary. Young prospect? Decent skills? The sad thing about it is Tinsley really at times can play some spectullar basketball. Deiner would be an other option but his salary is very modest. He has an excellent asst/turn ration and is a great shooter. We need a PF in the worst way though and Diener's salary would mean we would need a modest salary back.

By the way whats up with Real GM's trade machine? ESPN's is up to date

Indy is stuck with Tinsley more than we are stuck with Kenny Thomas. Although at least the Indy organization has said if they can't move Tinsley they will buy him out.
