Just goes to show you that sometimes the GM makes all the difference in the world.

Didn't just about everyone but Knick fan know that was rediculous?
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

HaHaHaHa...thats funny....but yep, i recall that  Now the Knicks just CUT those guys so Balkman is worth 2010 second round pick.

And I thought when I opened this thread it would be, Remember when Petrie drafted Peja and J Will, traded for Webber and Christie and signed Divac as a FA.......those were the days :D

When I opened this one I thought it would say, "Remember when Artest would only be traded with one of the bad contracts, or not traded at all!"

I like Bobby Jones more than Balkman as a wing-man role-player because he can shoot the three. Which could well allow him to start someday for a good team. Whereas Balkman doesn't have a respectable jump shot at all yet.

Jones has shown he has game on both ends, but he just hasn't got a fair shot yet, and really deserves one. He also got a triple double with Memphis last season :).

Balkman's a better athlete, rebounder, a versatile defender because of his size, and maybe somewhat of a better handler/play-maker, but Jones has some ability there as well, has his own versatility defensively, is pretty athletic, and is a good rebounder for a wing.
