Matt Palm was my teammate and is my friend. He really is a soldier. So is his father. I never saw somebody so optimistic despite his situation.

I know he has to be a kings fan after this :lol:

His story is important...not only to the outside viewer, but to him. Kevin obviously realized that and did a good thing. I know it means the world to Matt

Wow, props to Martin. This is one of many deeds he has done over his career. He is really a nice, genuine and humble young man. I'm just so glad we have a player at this magnitude in the Kings team.

Very classy of him. Reminds me of what Doug Christie did awhile back with a kid that had cancer (I think it was cancer).

He's just an amazing person on and off the court. It's rare to find a person as talented and rich as him to be so nice an humble. It's sad that players get more recognition for the bad things they do than the good things they do. Kevin Martin is 10x the person and player that Marbury will ever be and Marbury is about 10x more popular than Martin.
