I just got back from work, so I didn't get a chance to watch the game but...how did Brad Miller go 2 for 16...and why the hell did Brad Miller shoot 16 times in the first place?!

In a word, FRUSTRATION. You know how he gets sometimes. His jumper wasn't falling so he starting throwing guys around, driving to the hoop, trying to post up. Very un-Brad type of ball. He did run the offense well early though.

Personally, I don't understand how a center would ever shoot worse than 40% in ANY NBA game...but that's just me.

*fighting the temptation to conveniently edit this and use as a sig*
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

It was definitely one of the worst games of his career in many respects. His shot just wouldn't fall, and so he tried to drive a lot on a great individual defender--bad idea.

Re: Detroit @ Sacramento
We gave a great effort yesterday. I was very impressed with Beno, BJax, Thompson, Hawes, Moore and Salmons. Without Garcia and Martin and a no game game from Miller we almost won so there is a lot of good in the game. Both Spencer and JT hit big shots down the strech, it was impressive. There are really not many big guys in the league who get in Miller's head like Wallace. We did have a lot of turnovers down the stretch but we did play well. We will beat a lot of good teams this year. Thompson and Hawes need to be in the game down the stretch. I agree that Greene should get some playtime just to see what he can do for a couple minutes.

I wasn't able to watch the game again, but how was Thompson at SF?
Does anyone think he could develop into a full time SF?
Suppose, we ended up with a top pick, and Blake Griffin is on the board, and by far the BPA for the given situation. Would we be able to draft him and have a Thompson/Griffin/Hawes lineup? Or would the three not be able to coexist. Just curious.

We need to identify what we do well and stick with that, It's what we do with the personnel and how we are utilizing the players' abilities and what they are doing, playing JT SF that's not the right way to go.
JT is actually a good fit in the Triangle Offense Or the Princeton Offense, when play his natural position (PF), not the SF.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

I was only able to catch bits and pieces of the game, but the little I did see it looked like Prince was able to do what he wanted offensively.
