No, not really. I don't really think your post contributes anything. It is not needed for this time being.

Yes, I would still be talking about how much he sucks...because he sucks.
Me too. The ONLY plus this guy has going for him is that he's not Kenny Thomas. If three years of pure suckitude doesn't justify harsh criticism, then what does?

Theus: Career averages of 18.5 pts, 6.3 asts, 3.3 rebs, 47% fg, 83% ft and 1.2 stls per game.
Porter: Career averages of 12.2 pte, 5.6 asts 3.0 rebs, 46% fg, 84% ft and 1.2 stls per game.
Clearly Theus is better.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Ewing is said to really be about 6'10" and in pictures I've seen it looks about right. Now he probably had the length of a guy 7'5" but he wasn't 7 feet tall.

But that's the thing--a mismatch does no good if you can't pass out of it. That's why Eddy Curry is so useless (well, among other reasons). I'm not saying that Jason can't eventually do that kind of stuff, but I don' think he's ready right now.
Clearly not, neither is the team, but when, where, and how do you learn to do such things? I'll tell you: Now, on a rebuilding team, and with lots of practice in real game situations.
The fact that the Suns sent three defenders the VERY FIRST TIME they went to Jason in the post was very, very telling.
Yeah, it was very telling that they knew a rookie couldn't handle being swarmed like that down low. They were right.
The fact that they even discussed Jason Thompson down low is all you need to know about the matter. Jason will clearly have the skill, and does now to handle the ball and the team should eventually know how to work out of that situation. Still don't get it do you? Haha.

No, my whole point is that the swarming was more about taking advantage of a rookie than a mismatch. I'm not saying that he won't eventually be skilled enough to take advantage of that situation, just that he's not right now, and Phoenix used that to their advantage.

Oh come on, you don't send three guys to help in the post unless you are afraid you will be taken advantage of down low! The only team dumb enough to do something like that is....well....us.

Why do team's do a full court press? Because they're afraid of teams scoring from 80 feet away?
It's the same principle. I'm not saying that it had nothing to do with the mismatch, but superstars don't get swarmed like that, and it's because they can handle it. Other teams will know that a rookie probably won't be able to.
