Our guys did all right. They at least showed pride, and because of that, they didn't blow the game enough to lose. Kevin clearly made a difference not just in the production, but in the general energy.
I was there too, and I saw it differently.
Energy wise I didn't see a boost, but it's obvious the Kings have internal issues. You'd see guys visibly upset they weren't getting the ball. It was even more obvious when Martin and Beno were yelling at each other across court.
What I saw was players getting Martin the ball because he's supposed to get shots, and so the ball moved a lot better, but then again the Kings were up big early, and Martin didn't start.
Furthermore the Kings gave the ball to Martin to put the game away and he went cold down the stretch. This was an UGLY game. This is what I took out of it:
Beno < Brown
Jason Thompson is pressing way too hard. He needs to settle down
Kevin Martin is who I thought he was
Eric Gordon is going to be a nice NBA player! He was killing us, and I looked up and he had 24 points.
KANGZZZZZ!
