It just sad when you see a star level underrated player like Drew Gooden get bashed and not have a chance his whole career.

Wouldn't you rather, as a fan of Gooden, see him succeed on a winning team/contender than get stuck behind promising youth in Sacramento?

No. I want to see him made the 1st option possibly 2nd option at the worst behind Martin and carry this team to multiple championships taking this franchise farther then Chris Webber ever has. I have always followed the Kings on league pass more so then other losing Westcoast teams, and even though I think your young bigs can develop into even better players and they are fairly decent right now with the limited time they have been in the league, neither Hawes or Thompson had the college career of Drew Gooden and I personally feel they will never reach the level of ball Drew Gooden is capable of playing right now for this team. Before you guys keep bashing him and want him benched or bought out let the man get starters minutes and touches for 20 or so games and then make your comments. Drew is an elite rebounder and scorer in this league when he gets the touches and minutes. It is really upsetting when I see this young Sacramento get rid of a talent like John Salmons and then get the best player back in the trade in Drew Gooden and you guys are already against him and want him bought out.

These young Kings bigs would never make the cover of any video game from what they did in college or the nba so far. Drew Gooden is a way bigger talent then most of you realize.

Look at this high praise from a fellow nba player in the league from 06.
