The reason we didn't take on Gooden was he was chonically injured like Shareef. We will trade Thomas when he is an expiring over the summer for a healthy vet or I think they will play Noc some at 3-4-5 also to take pressure off the youngsters.

^Speaking of Gooden being chronically injured.

These are G4L comments regarding Derrick Rose to Chicago fans. My favorite part is when he says that Rose will never be as good as Drew Gooden.

"Also, I love how your fans make Rose out to be Lebron James. Rose will never be on Lebrons or even Drew Goodens level. Rose is the 4th best pg in the east at best, live with it. Your team is garbage on the inside and will not make the playoffs. I hope Gordon leaves your **** team because he deserves better."

How can u not love this guy? We dodged a bullet.

Gooden 4 LIfe post on spurs board regarding Drew Gooden. My favorite part is when he compares gooden to duncan:

"You basically now have a more athletic Duncan with more range and post moves but lacks the on the defensive end, especially help defense. You now also have one of the best rebounders in the league and by far the best baby hook from either the left or right block. You basically just added another allstar for 1.5 million and I now have the Spurs winning the West after making this move."

Come on...let Gooden4LIfe just fade away. No one poster really deserves so much attention.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Never, he's too great of a poster to fade away. He somehow manages to balance trolling to not be trolling. It's truly a mastered art form. I'm in awe at his ability.

No joke, I hope they kick the lakers ass. Not sure he will be 40/20 guy, but should be solid for them.

I was hoping to see Kobe choke in the Finals again but it would be nicer to see the Spurs get them first. I would like to see the Spurs win one more so I can add one more ring to the skinny big guy column for the non JT believers.

I wouldn't really classify either a skinny big guy, and especially not Duncan.

Duncan was as skinny as JT coming into the league. Hopefully JT can add some bulk to him.

When I hear skinny big guy I think Bosh, Randolph, Dikembe, and a young Garnett. I never really have seen JT or Duncan as undeveloped as those guys. I guess I just don't see the reason to classify Duncan or JT with those guys. I mean Duncan is 255, JT is 250. Those are not small guys. Actually some of the bigger PF's in the league. This makes even less sense when one of the Strongest (if not strongest) player in the game Dwight Howard weighs 265.

Take a look at the starting Power fowards in the league and tell me you still think Duncan (5) and Thompson (7) are still some of the "skinnier big men in the league"...

Boozer - 266
Varajeo - 260
Z Randolph- 260
Love- 260
Duncan - 255
Garnett- 253 NOW
Thompson - 250
Nene-250
Dirk- 245
Murphy- 245
Harrington- 245
West- 240
Alrich - 240
Jianlian- 238
Diaw-235
Haslem- 235
Green- 235
Jamison- 235
Villanueva- 232
Bosh- 230
Rashard- 230
Kenyon Martin -230
Sheed- 230
Scola - 230
Lamar- 230
Arthur- 225
Young- 220
Tyrus Thomas- 215
