So I ask, would really be Petrie interested in that pick? Don't we have some priorities (PG and SF) before PF? Or it's just a false speculation?

Many mocks don't take into account the team who's drafting like nbadraft.net. They rank what they consider the BPA and that's who goes 1st, 2nd, etc. Draft Express tries to get information and analyzes the draft a little better than most sites I've seen.

For me though I've got to say no to Hill and Harden.

No to Jennings, Curry and Hill & Thabeet. Hill & Thabeet very well could become great NBA players, but at this point, I don't see them heads and shoulders above anyone else in terms of talent, and we need help elsewhere more.

So..I'd say yes too Holiday, DeRozan, Evans, Flynn, Clark...and a few others..
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

True story: I had a dream last night that I was talking to Petrie. I asked him if he thought Holiday would have a better career than Rubio and he said yes. He also said he's drafting him. He said that all it would take to get Rubio was #4, 3 mill cash but he's not as high on him as he is on Holiday. He said Westphal is the next coach.

If all these things come true, we can rely on my dreams to see the future. That will be helpful.

I think holiday just could be THE guy. Just a strange feeling. Call me crazy, anyway, i sure hope you're right. (about being able to predict the future) that would be SICK.

how can anyone say holiday at #4. we can always trade down and pick up more picks or assets to get holiday if we want him. at best he will go somewhere around 10.

Watch we are going to draft a player that is deemed a reach by many i.e. Thompson at #12 from last year.

Who could that be this year? Is there any one player that Petrie repeatedly been watching or scouting? Last year he made multiple trips to scout Thompson, is there anybody like that this year? If there is, it's probably that guy.

Maybe.

I don't think it is unreasonable to say that Petrie may be have scouting during the season. Outside the US and/or within. I personally think he is scouting a specific player(s) with an ideal set of skill such as versatility and basketball IQ.

The multiple visits of Thompson was published to the Bee after we drafted Thompson though.

Actually I remember reading during the college season that Petrie was there scouting Thompson. I remember 2 times specifically at least.

Hmm, interesting. Are you sure about that? I don't remember reading any reference of Thompson during the Kings season. Maybe I'm mistaken but either way in the end Petrie drafted a darn good player at #12 in Thompson and hopefully he continues that pattern for this upcoming draft.

If the Kings pick Hill (unless they plan to trade him or Thompson), I will definately question my faith in the team...or just make another thread about why Petrie needs to be fired ;)

The only way you guys pick Hill is to trade him for Rubio. You will definitely go guard.
