Im not saying the things im saying because im a homer but because im looking at POTENTIAL. Im not dumb because i think POTENTIALY the kings are better than the hawks. The Kings have aton of POTENTIAL to be a good team in years coming.

You are being a homer.

You are looking at King's fulling maximum potential which is fine...but you're also looking at other teams failing to achieve any of their potential.

Always view your opponents having achieved absolute potential and yourself fullfilling none. You always want to go about things thinking about the worst case scenerio, therefore you prepare for the worst, and whatever happens will most likely be much better than what you prepared for.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

The reason i said were better than the following teams was because i was speaking of POTENTIAL. I mean yes we may not be better than half those teams in the futere but this team has a ton of POTENTIAL to at least compete with them. And another thing is that im ntot being a "Homer". I never said the kings were making the play offs this year, in fact i think we will have another top 10 pick. With that being said add another FA big man and you can make a strong case for a playoff birth in 2010-2011.

el_road's takes are hilarious. Kings in the playoffs? I'll knock you out in May and sneak a VHS tape of the 2003 playoffs so you're right.

Hawes ceiling- Pau Gasol

Thompson ceiling- Chris Bosh

Evans ceiling- Lets just say Gilbert Arenas

If those three "pan out" we have 3 allstars borderline superstars.

Ill take that.

At best, Hawes's ceiling is Troy Murphy with post moves.

Jason Thompson is a poor man's Reef.

We aren't sure about Evans, but I do like that pick for the Kings. I think a young Ron Harper would be a good comparison.

Return to Sacramento Kings
