Re: Sergio
In all honesty, there has been little said about him (at least to my knowledge). I think a lot of Kings fans and even the media has forgotten about the fact that he's going to be on the roster next year. I am personally encouraged by the fact that he will be a King next year. I think he is a talented PG who has had trouble displaying his talent due to competition on previous rosters. If Westphal gives him an honest chance to compete for a role, and given the fact that Beno is coming into camp with a knee injury, I think he will be a benefit for the team.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Re: Sergio
To me, the nice thing about him is that he's a solid backup who therefore makes Beno completely expendable. He makes it so that we can trade Beno without having to worry about PG depth.

I really like his game but dont know how much pt he is gonna get. I think beno will have a good year because he is meant to be a backup and plays better as a backup like he did when bibby was here. Right now i dont see him getting much pt but he is not far from beno talent wise if any at all.

Re: Sergio
I'm not even sure the kid hits the floor much at all. If he does, it means one of two things: Evans sucks or Beno is officially the deadest deadweight in the entire league. Might be better for the Kings if Sergio doesn't play! hahaha.

Re: Sergio
There hasn't been too much news about Sergio yet. So, we don't know haha
But I'm ready to see tons of lob passes from Sergio to Martin. The semi "Spanish Armada" haha

Third:
OR He actually turns out to be a REALLY good Point Guard

Re: Sergio
from what i've seen in his limited PT in portland, he's exactly what we need. EXCITING. i would say he's comparable to jason williams back in the day. (obviously no where near that level yet) i can't really get the image of all those alley-oop lobs in that pre-season game last season out of my head. Anyone else remember that game?

I think that Sergio is very similar in overall talent to Beno on a MUUCH better contract. This year, he's going to have a shot to prove himself with beno being injured and evans being young, so lets see what he can do.

Which still makes my number 2 scenario very likely. Retaining Beno's value might be > finding a good backup PG.

It's still Beno Udrih at the moment. Until, Evans beats him out of the starting point guard position (I think this will happen within the first month of the season), Beno starts. So, it is:
Point Guard depth:
1. Beno Udrih
2. Tyreke Evans
3. Sergio Rodriguez
