Was Webber a HOF talent...no question.
Did Webber do enough on the court to be worthy of the hall...questionable
Is Webber's inability to get along with coaches, run ins with the law, and other mischief going to cost him the hall...probably. Had the Kings won a ring he's in though for sure. I think his knee injury has much to do with it as well.
Final thought...I just don't see him getting the support to be a HOF guy. If you take away the Sac years which is about half his career you have either injury city or performing below ability.

Adding up rebounds, points, and assists. Webber= 7th all time. Not gonna stand by this as it's a stunning stat in the big picture, but that is what they said/reported.
What was their opinion if Webber should make the hall of fame? No and NO! i disagree, but it's not a battle worth the argument.
That's pretty amazing especially when you consider that guys in the 60's and 70's had inflated stats due to pace.
I think that if anything keeps Chris out of the HOF, it will be that his prime was really cut short by the knee injury. If that had never happened, there is not a doubt in my mind that he would be a near-lock for the HOF.

I think CWebb should be in the Hall. 20pts, 9rebs and 4asts per, plus he had a great college career even though he didn't win the big one, he still led his team to the finals in both of his years in school. If it weren't for the injuries he would have been a shoe in but he is still deserving.

props to Turbozone for the sig

Found this vid on NBA.com, check it out.

It talks about the other places hes been. They talked to much about the time he spent in Detroit. I think they were just trying to make it sound like he ended his career off on the right foot though..

I don't care what anyone says about C-Webb, he will always go down as the best Sacramento King ever in the common era and I will never forget those years that he gave the Kings and the city of Sacramento. C-Webb will be missed. Dang I wish I still had that old C-Webb sig I had a long time ago.
When the University of Hawaii wins the most of your favorite teams you have a problem

Seriously, dude. You actually went back to a thread that was over a year old and responded to it? I think your agenda is pretty clear now. You don't view Webber as highly as others.
At the very least, we currently have a more recent thread that details tidbits about Webber/Kings, you should have "reiterate" your response there. Not here. This thread was acknowledging/reminiscing Webber's time here.
