I'd bet something like Thomas/Casspi or Greene with a lotto protected future pick is all it would take to net Deng from Chicago. They'd LOVE to get out of his absolutely ASININE deal they signed him to. Getting a replacement tt a fraction of the cost and a later pick would be ideal for them.

So yeah, again it's about how "for it" you are. Again, I think it'll largely depend on how Tyreke pans out.

I think seeing the development of Spencer, Jason and Tyreke this year will give us a better idea of how Joe would fit with this team.

If you wouldn't pay Johnson 13+ mil a year, what do you plan on doing with that cap space? That cap space isn't gonna be around forever, mainly cause the year after we have to start resigning our drafted players.
It would be nice to get a PG/PF/C with our money, only there are none out there that we can obtain/make an impact.
