I got a flash of nausea...does that count?
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Martin and Garica missed a combined 40+ games last year. Those were our top 2 leading scorers. Also Thompson and Hawes were a year less experienced, we had crappy coaching, AND we added Tyreke Evans who is a game changer.

How can you honestly say we have DIGRESSED from last year? At the very least we will win 18 games.

I think the term you're looking for is REGRESSED. I think maybe the other team in the West, especially, have PROGRESSED more than we have, and it may appear as a regression.

Digress means to deviate or wander away from. Regression is the opposite of progression. And we could win less than 17 games this year, this team is AWFULLY young, with only one legitimate NBA player on the roster right now(meaning that the others needs a couple years to become that).

With that said, I think we end up around the 21 win mark, give or take 2-3 games.

Lawl!

But Smills nailed it. We did get better form last year, just all the other horrible teams got improved a bit more than us.

I except around 20 games, but this year I view 20 games as the league's worst.

Like I've said, if you don't think King's are a bottom team, ignore the wins or loses, but look at the competition, which teams are we better than? We could win 35 games a year, but if everyone else wins 36, we're still the worst team in the league.

I think we have a more talented roster than,

Minnesota, New York, Memphis, Milwaukee, and Golden State.

I disagree about Minnesota.

New York I feel is a question mark and could end up playing pretty decent, better than us.

Memphis might as well start a ball rack.

Milwaukee is just terrible.

Golden State I feel is slightly more talented than us, but it will be close.

But those 5 other teams and us make up the bottom 6 in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up anywhere from 1 to 6.

Lol at this panic thread. I personally dont have that high expectations of this team to be freaking out and start callin half our roster busts and to think we need stephen jackson is plain (Please Use More Appropriate Word). The only team I think is for sure worse than us is the Bucks, therefore we are going to lose a lot of games this year folks. This is going to be a loooooong season looks like some of us didnt prepare ourselves for it. For those of you that predicted high twenties-low thirties for amount of wins lol keep freaking out cause its not happening. This year is just about development of our prospects and its probably not going to translate into many wins, we will probably have a top 4 pick next year. Hopefully we can land favors to help our soft frontcourt but who knows well see.

Draino wrote:No I'm not overreacting to one loss on the season, but seriously watching this team play made my eyes bleed. It is PATHETIC! And I'm getting tired of this! Ever since we traded Webber this team has went downhill. I don't know why everyone is so stuck on this potential for this team when nothing is happening! THEY WILL REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL WHEN THEY LEAVE THE KINGS (see Gerald Wallace, Mo Evans, Ronnie Price, John Salmons, etc...) Seriously do you really think its gonna be worth waiting for this team to DEVELOP WITHOUT A LEADER, rather than get a VETERAN (boo hoo we incerease our age average, so f'n what??) someone who can step up and be a leader! We have the pieces to make a trade, so why not do it?

I usually heavily respect your opinion, but that is garbage. Wallace was the only player that you mentioned that might make sense, but evans and price are solid role players, which is exactly what they were when they were on the kings and salmons scored MORE on the kings than he did on the bulls. In no way did he "realize his potential" after he left the kings.

As for your comments about a vet, we went out last year and traded for a hard nosed vet in nocioni, and that has not worked out at all, so why would we want to get a selfish piece of crap to be out "veteran leader?"
