Also

I would just like to say how unbelievably sick it was when Evans was saying "My house", and looking at the fans and saying "my house" I just love his swagger, and our team's swagger for that matter. So damn sick.

I wish Evan's J would be as awesome as the shot me made over Deng.

I jumped and ran around the house after that shot.

I would not trade evans for roy, rose, or griffin and durant is not not a no brainer IMO i probably would not trade him for durant. I feel like evans will be just as good if not better than durant once he gets a consistent jumper.

Out of the past say 4 drafts, (09, 08, 07, 06) are there any players you would trade Evans straight up for?

For me theres only 1 no brainer in Durant.

And maybe's on Roy, Rose, Griffin

Really I don't think Durant is a no-brainer...why? DEFENSIVE. Look at Durant's rookie year stats and Tyreke's. I think they're both going to be superstars in this league in their own right, but that Evans will also be playing the defensive side of the ball. I mean Evans AS A ROOKIE has just won the Kings 3 straight games with CLUTCH 4th quarter play. you can't QUANTIFY his ability to RISE to the occasion statisically speaking. Durant's amazing, but I don't think this is a no-brainer at all. In fact, I could prospose a strong argument for Evans over Durant. As for Roy, Rose and Griffin....Roy and Evans is definitely close, Rose is a no way for me(I'd rather have Evans) and Griffin is a who the hell knows at this point.

Interesting thought though.

I agree with Smills. It's not a no-brainer at all. Durant has the potential to be the best offensive player in the league, but what else can he do? Evans already has the ability to effect any and every aspect of the game. I don't see Durant as having that ability.

This is in no way a knock against Durant, because I can realistically see him being better than Nowitzki for example, but I also see Evans as having that kind of potential too.

While I would probably not trade Evans for Roy/Rose/Griffin(who knows), I don't think it would be surprising if any of those three players ended up with a better career than Evans. For me, Roy and Rose are two of the top draft prospects in recent history, and have unbelievable potential. Whether that potential means MVP candidate or simply an allstar, it will all come down to luck and work ethic (luck being injury free). I think the same can be said about Evans.

Durant on the otherhand, I am very very high on. I really think that this kid can potentially be the best offensive player to ever play the game of basketball. I think his potential is greater than Evan's, but I would also agree on the fact that you could make an argument of why you wouldn't trade Evans for Durant.

Regardless, it is refreshing to finally be able to say that we have one of the best players from a draft class, even one of the best players from multiple recent drafts.

At this point regarding Evans, it's all up to him to constantly improve and stay healthy.

From an outsider's perspective I've been watching a ton of Tyreke. I would WAY rather have him than Rose and Roy. We haven't seen Griffin yet so it's hard to comment on that one. But Durant is a no-brainer, you can't teach that size.

That being said, you guys got the STEAL of the draft. Tyreke is awesome and really brought the Kings back to relevance. I'm looking forward to watching him play with K-Mart. That could be a sick 1-2 punch.

On the side, I think Jason Thompson is awesome also. If you guys could a get a banger at C like Noah, Dalembert, Biedrins, M. Gasol, Bynum, etc. Your team would have contender written all over it.
