Thompson is always on the same side as Evans which makes him the logical target to dump the ball to when he drives the lane. If we put Hawes there instead his numbers will certainly climb because he's being fed the ball. I don't think that Thompson's numbers will take too big of a hit from the other side of the basket because he is more able to go get a rebound and put the ball backup. The reason Hawes does so well with Udrih is because Udrih is left handed meaning that when he drives he drives to the left which nets Hawes some easy looks. Evans on the other hand struggles going left and this leaves Hawes out of the loop a bit when he is on the floor.

Soultion- Move hawes to the other side of the hoop to benefit his higher offensive prowess incomparison to Thompson. Thompson is one of those guys that can easily get buckets off of put backs and offensive rebounds.

Yeah, the bigs are really causing the lane to be shutoff. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this team could murder with the pick and pop between Hawes and Evans, yet, rarely do they go to it. They try to jam the ball into the post with Hawes and Thompson and it simply doesn't work when you have a guard like Evans wanting to attack the rim all night long. I'd also like to see Hawes set up in that in corner 3 opposite of Evans. Teams will leave him open all night long and more often than not they'll pay for it. When Evans has the ball at the top of the key they need to utilize a spread offense at the very least, this posting up crap just cuts us off at the knee.

Tough game all the way around. The only thing I can really complain about is Brockmans lack of playing time the last few games. When he's in we are a better team. He once again helped us surge towards the end of the game. Also, Hawes was totally under utilized once again. There are many ways he can play alongside Evans but it's just not a priority I guess.

Despite the rookie mistake of a really bad pass. This was once again a huge outing for Omri.

It's his 3rd big time scoring game in a row. he's also been rebounding extremely well.

For all the wrong reasons.

One thing I want to point out is that last night Casspi had a wide open rebound that he lost because he decided to play volleyball with it. And tonight he responded with 11 rebounds and tore them down each time. What a beast.
