Re: Sacramento (14-20) @ Golden State (10-24)
My heart has just had it's balls kicked open. Disgraceful loss.
I love our team, but I just don't know how the warriors can hold us to 40 2nd half points. How? I'd like to know. We play all the great teams very well and then fold like this to the Monta Maggetee's. As Bill Walton would say..Horrriiibllle.
Martin and Garcia can't come back quick enough in my book.

I just dont see how Westphal didnt stay with Hawes in the fourth. I mean after that 3rd quarter you would think hed get a look in the 4th but nooooooo we have to play small ball. This is the second loss in a span of a week the Westphal has jipped us.

Warriors fan. I realize that this was a tough loss for you guys but I was real impressed your team and its youth. You guys have a lot to look forward to. Wait till Tyreke gets a year or two under his belt. That guy has superstar written all over him. And don't sell Ellis short, he's the real deal. Not the same guy you're used to seeing. He's come of age. Good luck the rest of the season. Too bad it sounds like you too have a coach who has smallballitis.

I personally have never doubted Monta's talent (or talent potential), I just think he has case of terminal stupidity that will always limit him.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Most guys in the NBA aren't too bright (see Arenas) but I think he's actually coming around. Has a kid now. Sometimes that makes a difference. He's learning.
Sounds like Randolph may have fractured his ankle. That really sucks for us.

This one hurts..wow. Talk about zero offense down the stretch.
Tyreke has a lot to learn especially in ISO at the end of the game. Everyone on defense knows what he is going to do, and that works throughout the game, but in key possessions, I am not happy with just isolating Tyreke. It just hasn't been working.
Casspi was totally ineffective tonight. This is one of the few games where he really struggled shooting the ball. However, Udoka made up for it by shooting the ball nicely. I'm not completely sure why we went away from Brockman in the second half, though. And Thompson needs to learn how to finish at the rim. Its seriously very frustrating sometimes.

Ellis is tough cover, no question. Problem I have is the stupid things we did on offense that led to all the breakouts for Ellis and Maggette. Guarding either in open floor is virtually impossible, aside from a few plays. It seems to me when we are playing good offense and actually running something, our D plays much better.

Actually, that semi circle is only for people driving into the lane. If you're already in the lane you can't plow into your defender just because he's in the semi-circle.
Great game guys... you've got a great young, tough core of players. Can see why Sac fans are excited about basketball again.
Turiaf is 6-10 and 280lbs, he never gets plowed. JT is our #1 big guy and NEVER gets a call. If that play was Pau Gasol or Dirk or Duncan or Amare or Lebron or Howard or Aldridge that foul is not called. Thompson needed to take the ball up strong with the Warriors playing great defense and sank it.
I get tired of the same BS. So our young front line Casspi/Brockman/JT/Hawes/Donte means none deserve calls. That is BS because Evans already getting calls as a rookie.
Every NBA team that has watched the Kings last few weeks know our bigs our not respected by any ref. They do give Kenny Thomas our #8 big and Nocioni our #5 respect who have no impact on wins or loses.

Ya, good points. I kept wondering, how does Thompson knock over Turiaf with that move? He is a big dude and has a bigger frame than JT. How can JT bang down low when he gets called for crap all the time? Ugh.

That's one we can relate to. We never usually get calls like that in our favor, even on our home court. Biedrins who's been in the league 6 years already, still get treated like a rookie when it comes to calls. I hate that crap but that's the NBA and its officiating. You guys saw what just happened to us in Denver a few days ago, didn't you?

Was at the game tonight and this one hurts..I still had a lot of fun even though the Warrior fans annoyed the crap out of me, but I could tell I was buggin them as well. Our team looked like what they are, young. Tyreke was not his usual self but he's learning more every game he plays. And Omri looked terrible tonight, don't expect another game like he had for the remainder of the season.
I'm on BART right now on my way back home.
Note: Ric Bucher was in the building, he walked by me in the 1st..not sure why he would be there..????lol

all those times players like shaq just plowed over our players they pointed at the semi circle. he never drives. hes go to move is to run over the defender. like i said, it may be intended for a player driving, but its only called that way against us.

And thank God we didn't draft Curry.
I know this was in the heat of the game but Curry is going to be an awesome player. I can't believe people doubt this kids PG abilities. I see a little Steve Nash in him. Yep, you heard that right.

I agree, the kid will be good and his quick release is awesome. Problem I see is that his abilities seem superflous on the warriors. They have so many guys cut from the same mold. I think Curry would shine on a team needing his unique abilities.

Curry is going to be really, really good. He's on par with Tyreke in terms of consistency and maturity for a rook. And, there is no denying his basketball intelligence and offensive abilities. In a lot of ways, I prefer him to Jennings.
