Tyreke repping another segment of All Star Weekend...

Post#1 » by Geoff35 » Mon Feb 8, 2010 9:51 am

Along with the great CWEbb himself ;)

Team Sacramento is represented by the Kings' Tyreke Evans, who has won four consecutive Western Conference T-Mobile Rookie of the Month awards, and who headlines the 2010 T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam Rookie Team; TNT and NBA TV analyst Chris Webber, a five-time All-Star, who averaged 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists over a 15-year career; and Nicole Powell, currently with the New York Liberty, who was a first-time WNBA All-Star in 2009 with the Sacramento Monarchs.

Nothin "big" persay... but it is definetely good, for me at least, to see Sacramento coming back into the light, even slightly... We're getting back on the map thanks to mr. r.o.y.

You got me there for a second. I thought Evans was chosen to be the replacement for Roy and participate at the all star game. Now I'm disappointed. lol jk

But anyways, that's good to hear that Evans/Kings in general are having tons of exposure this year thanks to both Evans and Casspi.

But I have to wonder how Evans and Webber would fair in this competition. Both of these guys are not that great outside shooters. It would be interesting to see how they convert these shots.

From what I know, Powell is a very good shooter in general. Mid range or long distance, she is excellent.

Haha, it usually just comes down to the halfcourt shot. Evans just has to treat it like a gamewinning buzzer beater... and CWebb... im sure hes still got the arm strength to heave it the distance.

Webber has a decent if not a downright good jumper, or at least had one anyway.
