Eh, it's a hometown team, and Kidd is tearin it up at 38, it's likely his last one, I am for giving vets/legends an advantage when it comes to making the game. I wouldn't even be mad if Shaq made it.

Ya it should have been tyreke or aaron brooks but it's in dallas and like mentioned it will probably be his last one.

It is what it is. Personally, I feel the right choice was made. Kidd certainly is not as exciting, but you have to give respect to the vet. Plus c'mon the ASG is in Dallas. Evans is having a killer rookie season so I feel he's only setting himself up to make the ASG next season.

Who cares if Kidd is a vet and a "legend"? He doesn't deserve it, and Dallas already has Dirk in the game.

Nah he's an overrated chucker who doesn't make anybody better IMO. IMO it should've been Tyreke, Kidd isn't very good anymore, but whatever.

I don't think Evans deserved it. I don't remember the last time I inventively watched an All-Star game so I don't really care.

there were a lot of guys that deserved it over Kidd, yeah I know dude is a legend, but he was not deserving of his spot when Ellis, Evans, Brooks, and Westbrook were left out.

Agreed. Honesty i never liked the Rookies rules or all the nonsense that's comes along with it, you just cant treat grown men like that. But than again social ranking is part of your american culture. The nerds, the cool kids.....

He was obviously given a make-up call by getting the Rookie game MVP - despite that Blair should have had it outright.

What is really unfortunate is that they do not take the 24 best players in the NBA for the all-star game. The east is a joke. Lee? Rondo? Even Horford is more of a workhorse than a true all-star. It's just pretty pathetic on that side of the ball. there are at least seven guys in the West that should have made it ahead of those guys.

it sucked that kidd got it but there is no way that anyone can make an argument for tyreke, he was the leading scorer on a team that had only won 18 games... granted kaman got in but we all know that he deserved it regardless of his team's record.

what about westbrook? he's having an incredible season... its not all about scoring points, which is pretty much all that evans does. he does it extremely well but that doesnt make him an all star, especially as a rookie... lebron couldnt do it... the only rookie that i can think of that did was yao, but he had a billion people voting for him. literally....
