Well this was a surreal game for me. I get back a little before 2 from work, check the wiretap to find Kevin is traded, then watch the game, knowing nothing about it. I kind of felt weird rooting for Kevin, in a way.
As for the game itself, well obviously it sucked. That kind of thing is just going to happen when you play teams like the Warriors though. The game is generally a crapshoot, and stuff like that happens. Not so say we didn't play like crap. Defensively, they made ridiculous shots, but we also did nothing to disrupt their rhythm.
Offensively, we didn't really look to the post much at all outside of Tyreke, which was dumb. But the big problem when we play the Warriors in general, as I see it, is that we fall prey to their gimmicky "slap at the ball and hope a foul doesn't get called" D. This happened the first time we played them too. Thinking about it, I actually hate playing the Warriors more than anyone in the league. It's just constantly frustrating. But anyway, back to my point--they have a D that is really built to exploit young teams with inexperienced ballhandlers. It happens. This game pissed me off, but I'm not too worried about what it says about the team in the long run.
