He's a rookie combo guard trying to be a PG because he's a decent passer and he's good with the ball in his hands, and Kevin's a SG who is good when you have a big at the high post or something and you have him running around off screens catching and shooting, or the big looking to dish it to him on a cut to the basket. We were able to do that a lot when we had Miller here, and when we had Bibby who also played like that so it made sense. But that's not the Kings roster anymore.

Also, it's not such a big difference between Bron and Reke. Sure is LeBron a hell of a lot better than Evans RIGHT NOW? Sure. But he should be, he's more athletic and he's been in the NBA for 5 or 6 more years than Reke has. Reke is just trying to figure things out, but for a rookie to basically be averaging 20/5/5 you got to be pretty damn good at whatever position you're playing. When Reke gets older and gets better he's going to be one of those star guys you build your team around, might as well start now. He's already gotten this team past their win total from last year. He's already improved it a lot as a rookie.

I didn't put all of the blame on Reke at all. I said in my post that Reke shouldn't have to change his game for Martin. I'm just saying that some of you are wrong for putting all of the blame on Martin when there really wasn't anything he could do in this situation. You even said in your post that the Kings roster isn't designed to fit Martin's game. A trade was necessary.
