Wow, here you think you have a shot at a top pick and then the Clippers come to town! hahaha.

Back to Cole Aldrich/Hassan Whiteside territory.

Technically we are tied for 5th with the pistons. But I think they have more winable games left than we do.

What we need is to see each of the other 3 teams around our draft spot win 2 or more games. That will give us the coution we need to feel good about beating the clips and soon to be beating the warriors.

We were never in a position for Turner in the first place. You're literally talking about a difference a few percentage points as if it's any kind of certainty. Do you not see how ridiculous that is?

Nevermind what I said about the warriors for some reason I thought we had 1 more game with them.

We win and people are pissed... :nonono:

I sure do miss the days when we had the best fans in the NBA.

Nice Win. Im not going to get into the tanking discussion. Hopefully Thompson can take this play into next season.

I am disappointed that Hawes is hurt though. He just cant seem to ever put 5 good games together. Clearly we need to draft big men. Screw the Wall and Turner talk.

BTW im extremely tired so please excuse the poor sentence structure.

To all those complaining that this win can mean the difference of having the 5th worst record rather than the 3rd worst record I say...HELLS YEAH, NOW WE'RE SITTING PRETTY!

In case many of you failed to learn from last season, having the worst record means absolutely nothing when it comes to getting the first pick. Remember, the Kings had the WORST record and ended up losing the lottery and getting the 4th pick...the lowest possible pick they could get. Of course I am not in the slightest upset with the outcome.

Now, with that said, spend some time to study the history of the current draft lottery. More often than not the teams with around the 4th through 7th worst records ended up winning the lottery or at least getting a top 3 pick. Given the way history has played out, I would much rather stay in a position of having the 5th worst record than lose more games and likely end up with a 4th pick or worse.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Totally agree KIE. Nothing is guaranteed in the lottery. I mean, right now the difference between 3 and 5 is like 7%. It really means nothing IMO. Sure, I'd rather have 14% than 7% odds, but hey, its a lottery for a reason and we have a very very good chance to be in top 5, and a shot at top 3. I'll take it.

I know in the long run last nights win didn't mean anything, but it felt good to see them play well, and have a game where Reke was on. And I've been impressed with JT at Center.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
