Re: Andres Nocioni Requests Trade
How do you Kings feel about this?
Bulls lose: Deng, T.Gibson, #17, O.Asik (rights), '12 1st (from Cha) = 12,462,680
Bulls get: Nocioni = 6,850,000
~ team salary (including cap holds): before = 36,283,166 / after = 30,315,094 / net = 5,968,072
Hawks lose: Bibby, Marvin Williams = 12,277,267
Hawks get: Deng, T.Gibson = 12,462,680
~ talent upgrade
Kings lose: Nocioni = 6,850,000
Kings get: Bibby, Marvin Williams, #17, O.Asik (rights), '12 1st (from Cha) = 12,462,680
~ get an experienced pg, a young/big/athletic sf, + 3 assets
- if they sign #17 and O.Asik (2m), their net cap eaten in this trade = 8,729,867
* teams exchange future 2nd rounders appropriately if this is not a legit 3-Team trade

Re: Andres Nocioni Requests Trade
Could this be Petrie's worst trade? Miller expired this year and Salmons contributed greatly in Milwaukee last year while Noc was literally a waste of oxygen. I feel like the Webber trade was about as good as we could have done and KT was supposed to be our replacement who averaged a double-double the year before he got here and just bailed once he got here. We at least got expirings with Bibby, which would probably be the other trade in discussion.

Dan Gadzuric 7,240,000 expiring
Bucks would be one of the very few teams who would take Nocioni and pay him 6.65 in 2011-12 because they can win now and desperately need a SF. Noc is a great fit back with Skiles and I still think the Bucks draft a SF so Delfino can play SG full time.
Kings fans say yes yes yes...but do Bucks fans?

I thought the Miller Trade was more about getting out of Luxury Tax territory than anything else? I know when we had Bibby, Ron, and Miller I knew at least one of them was gone by the trading deadline just on the fact that our payroll was high and we weren't good. Salmons also had a player option, and if he were in town still I don't think he would have opted out? His value went up after the trade to the Bucks and their playoff run. His salary next year is $5.8m. Next year Noc is making about a mil more than that so I'd still do the trade even in hindsight.
KANGZZZZZ!

Redd's deal is 80% insured so his team will have to pay less than 4 mil. That would be horrible for Mil. Maybe Gadzuric as posted ealier straight up for Noc but not Redd.

I certainly wouldn't be dancing in the streets or bestowing a bunch of praise on Hammond though.
It's like taking three huge dumps on your kitchen floor, then cleaning up one of them.

don't know yet haven't proposed it there, thought I would get a feel for what you guys here think first
many Bucks fans want to bring Landry home to Milwaukee but unless you guys draft a PF I don't see Petrie moving him unless he already plans to not resign him next summer

The Bucks have absolutely nothing (realistically, they won't offer Jennings or Bogut) to offer the Kings to get Landry.

Re: Andres Nocioni Requests Trade
agreed, pick 15 is too much obviously and 37 is not enough
risky for the Bucks, if they couldn't resign him they would be screwed
my guess is the Bucks will go PF at 37 because the position is so deep, unless Patterson or Udoh drop to 15

fair enough, so I take it Kings fans value Landry more than J Thompson?
and do you want Cousins with the 5th pick?

Right now- Landry
Future- Thompson
As of right now, Landry is the better player and is consider to be one of the significant pieces to the immediate core. But Thompson can be considered to be our immediate and future core piece though.
It's hard to differentiate of who has the higher value but in my opinion, I take Thompson.
and do you want Cousins with the 5th pick?
Yes, most likely.

AK-47 Expiring
#9
Future Memphis Pick
Trade Exception
for
#5
Noc
Garcia
Swap second roud picks
Kings get huge expiring deal, plus extra 5 million dollar trade exception, plus the #9 pick, and a future first rounder from Memphis in exchange for Garcia who would replace Korver for the Jazz, and Nocioni who would fit in very well with the Jazz system and the #5 pick. Swapping second round picks could be nice for the Jazz.

Re: Andres Nocioni Requests Trade
Ultimately, I dont think Kings touch this deal. Certainly we wouldnt swap 2nd round picks. But not a terrible deal

Re: Andres Nocioni Requests Trade
I mean it completely depends on who we want. If the guy we want is there at 5 and won't be there at 9, we don't do it. Otherwise, we definitely do it.

Take out the switch of 2nd round picks and I could see the Kings biting on it.
