No losing is never good, we dont need to build that loser mentality anymore.
Keep winning games, win the last one tomorrow, win the games in preseason and carry it over to the regular season and hopefully the playoffs.

cousins has a talent, strenght, size, foot work to dominate inside but he tends to hang around on perimeter too much. i don't know why sacaramento coaching staff allow him to do that. WTF, mario ellie was too nice to cousins, it wont help cousins maturity on the court. cousins has a freedom to do what he wants to do on the court, thats a bad coaching for cousins. if they allow cousins to do his bad habit, expect the worse outcome.
cousins success in the nba was defends on how westphall coach him. if westphall allow cousins to play perimeter game, thats not a good sign. knowing sacramento brass they love big man who can shot outside (webber, divac, hawes, miller, thompson) . they pick cousins because they impress on cousins perimeter game he shown in workouts. after watching this summer league games, i conclude that cousins has a green light to play perimeter game which i don't like. if thats the case i think sacramento isn't a good team for cousins.
need a coach who can yell on cousins everytime he step outside. calipari isn't a good coach but he was a perfect coach for cousins.

First of all, its Summer League. This is the time for Cousins to step out and try new things. Early on everyone was raving about his perimeter skills.
Secondly, he's exhausted. You can tell by the way he is slouching around on the court. When you're tired, its harder to work for post position. Its harder to finish when your finishing move is coming further away from the basket. And its harder to get up and down the court to try to get work done early in the shot clock.
Third, we're gonna need Demarcus' perimeter skills with Tyreke being the #1 guy on the squad.

I agree with this, he needs to post up closer to the basket. I don't think there's many defenders in summer league to single coverage him because they way he uses his body

tyreke always penetrating by attacking the basket. we need a big man in the inside for a put backs. we have a bigman(hawes) last season who play on perimeter too, what happen?

kings wing players will take care the perimeter shots, bigman needs to stay inside for put backs and tyreke inside pass.

I’m not raving his perimeter game since day 1, look on my previous post even they win on first game, I don’t like what I saw. I’m a fan of cousins more than a sacramento kings fan. I watch cousins since high school form Erwin to pinson to leflore days. I know perimeter game is cousins bad habit since high school, the reason why some publication never rank him as #2 player in the country(only rivals rank him #2), is because of that. he compared to renardo Sidney that has a lots of talent to play inside but tends to hang around outside too much. In college calipari cut his perimeter game and he become one of the best player in college as a freshman. I know cousins is much more productive if he played inside more and he will become much better player, much better field goal percentage, more rebound opportunity.
Is because summer league? summer league or not I will never allow my player to bring back his bad habit play into the game.

Dude, seriously? you guys are dumb...
Cousins is gonna be able to shoot with our system.. and that's a good thing!! (as long as he's taking good high% mid rang shots... and stops the low% shots and the fading away with a guy in his face crap)
Tyreke likes to drive in, when it's not their and he gets stopped, Cousins should be open for a mid range shot... that spreads the floor/passing lanes, and makes a great offensive flow.
You don't want Cousins inside hogging up the lane. That would leave an extra defender in the lane to guard Reke. Cousins and Thomson, or who ever is at the PF can be out of the lane. All they need to do is box their guy out. And crash the broads for the rebound, works well every time.

Re: Kings vs. Bulls, Vegas Summer League Game 5
I have said this from the beginning ( even the first few games when he was tearing it up) Cousins needs to get in position closer to the basket (with enough room from the baseline) to drive baseline if he needs. Although I will say this, it is the summer league, and I bet that the coaching staff is kind of being loose, they want him to go out there and show case all of his skills, they want to see what he does when he gets frustrated and how well he can do through the stretch of the game when he is tired.
Today's game cousins looked sluggish - I will also say that I am getting annoyed with how he cringes every time a call doesn't go his way. I hope, and think that the kings staff will address this off the court and tell him to be a man, and take the punches on the chin. To his defense he was getting mugged out there basically every time, the officials in the summer league suck - and that is to be expected... one thing that should be pointed out is that in the summer league cousins was our go to man, in the regular season he will not be our go to man... so we should not have to worry much about what happened in the summer league - the brass will work on the holes in cousins game.
Another thing I noticed is that cousins and a few of our guards seem to want to take a gamble/swipe at the ball in hopes of a steal and basically risk giving them the a free drive to the basket. The need to learn to play in front of their man, take what the other guy gives them... play good defense and let the other team shoot their selves in the foot.
Also - If you ask me, I don't mind cousins perimeter shot .. imo its great... and I hope he uses it a lot in the regular season it will really open the game up and make him tougher to guard and give him more opportunities to score in the post when he mixes his game up. But here is what I would like to see - ESTABLISH YOURSELF INSIDE FIRST. Once he gets in an offensive grove and scores a 4-6 points in the paint, step back and take a jumper or 2.. then go right back in it. Because if you notice when he goes 0-12... 0-8 etc etc.. its because he starts off taking jumpers.. misses a few and his confidence is shot to hell...
Anyways - all and all you have to take this for what it is.. its the summer league... believe me by time the season comes... the flaws and weaknesses we seen in the summer league will have been worked on a ton.. and when they take the court they'll be in better condition ... and have a much more polished game... and the guys who made the line up will obviously have a lot more confidence...

Re: Kings vs. Bulls, Vegas Summer League Game 5
Yeah way too critical of a rookie in summer league IMO!
I don't think its right to tell any young player do one thing and that's it. Lets see what's going to work for this organization and not just what you think will work going forward. The Kings have always had bigs that had three point range. Chris and Vlade could shoot it (Chris more learned later in his career even before the knee injury) so we're used to seeing bigs shoot. In fact it's a prereq to play here (being able to shoot as a big).
What needs to happen is there needs to be a balance to what he does. He doesn't need to be on the post or a one trick pony. Let him be dynamic. He will need to learn as a pro when to bring which part of his game to the situation. Once he does that he will be a complete player.

Dudes exhausted and I think it's pretty clear what's going on here. Hopefully he takes his inability to sustain seriously and it drives him to work that much harder. That's what summer league is for after all. It should also be noted that he'll never play this many games in a row like this during the real season so it's truly an ultimate test for most of these young guys. Even though it's sloppy you won't find guys playing harder than the summer league anywhere. These guys aren't fighting for jewelry, they're fighting for their livelihood.
