His bad qualities are..
MISSING two clutch free-throws during a Kings, Lakers, rivalry game.. when we had the lead!! :noway:

His Good qualities? I didn't know he had any...
I guess I'll go with his Defense.

By all accounts a very good dude. He is an excellent defender from the 1-3 spot. Iffy shot, very sporadic, when it's going it's not going for very long but he hits them at the right moment sometimes. Mainly a good defender, bad offensive player. He also has moments where he just clears the boards on both ends.

I think you're being to tough on Udoka - He served his purpose last year. His defense is excellent , his goal was to come out and give us quality minutes off the bench - and I would say for the most part, he was successful more times then not.

Maybe I am just being biased, but I can remember so many clutch shots off the bench. I do remember him missing some clutch shots - but that happens to everyone... I think if he was given more minutes it would give him a chance to really shine and show more then he has been able to in the past.

Kobe's clutch big game 7 line 6/24 (25%) 0-6 3ptrs (0%) 11/15 (73%).

David Stern knows that sometimes you have to create a marketable superstar to make all the money if you don't have a dominant one. Kobe and Shaq were not better than Tim Duncan who was the clutchest big man of this was too boring to regular NBA fans. And because of LA or NY big city stars just are easier to market financially than small market guys like Duncan. The NBA under Stern has been no better than the WWE or boxing. Jordan was great but his gambling got him kicked out after a 3rd title, but Stern came up with great BS baseball story as a cover for the suspension. This allowed Stern/Nike partnership to create Jordan from a big market (Chicago). Stern is just about the money-see the Lebron/Wade/Bosh or Celtics teams who were all stamped by the commissioner. Big market teams champs are easy money and heavily favored in Stern's NBA.

Ime was serviceable in his time here.

A very good defender. Can hit big shots at the right moment (excluding Lakers game) and a good teammate.

He has a bit more offensive skill than most people credit him for but he is definitely not a guy to give the ball and expect to create though.

On a good team he's going to get 15 minutes...hit open shots and play serviceable defense. On a bad team he's going to try to do things he can't do because nobody else on that team can really do them either. I thought he was a decent vet in the mold of John Barry. I just don't think he should want to play here. He'd do better on a championship team in a limited role.

Do you remember the difference between the 2009 and 2010 Celts? Posey was a defensive guy who helped them win a title in 2009 and then got signed away. They really need a guy who can defend like Ime, whether he hits a shot or not.
