I know Sacramento's not on that list, but the Hornets owe it to their fan base to get the best deal possible for CP3. I would think Sacramento has to be up in the top 5 of realistic trade offers that would satisfy their fan base.

Knicks - Randolph and Gallinaro

Lakers - Bynum

Kings - Landry, JT, Whiteside, Casspi, Greene

A core of CP3 - DMC - Tyreke would be sick.

I think it's time to get off the crack. (lol) We don't have the value or the salary (I don't think) to make a trade for Chris Paul without completely decimating our already rebuilding roster. Would they even take anybody on our roster NOT named Tyreke or DMC?

I don't smoke crack, I prefer slammin' heroine. I think the only team that really has the value for CP3 is OKC -- but compared to the slop Magic & Knicks fan are offering, I believe our assets (Whiteside/Casspi/Greene/Landry/JT) are superior.

so what you are saying is giving up half of our team just for Paul.... IF that means getting David West and a pick back, then ok, but.... nahhhh and we have 0.03% chance of getting him anyways so I don't think this should even be a topic in here, it's pointless

So we give up half of our front court, Casspi and TWO first round picks? AND Garcia? And then hope NO gives us another big? My goodness, you've just gutted the whole team AND thrown away our future (picks)! I'll pass...

First of all you don't have to give up half your team to get Paul! If the Hornets agree to trade Paul; they'd be obviously saying "We are officially in rebuild mode". Expect whoever trades for Paul to also have to take on the salary of Okafor.

Sacramento has the means to get a trade for Paul done: 1- they have capspace 2- they have young talent and 3- they have a large expiring contract (Delembert) who happens to play Okafor's position and I might add that the Kings had an interest in Okafor last year. They don't have to give up Reke which would be silly anyway.

ICMTM- I disagree; I think it could work because both are unselfish and Paul is the type of PG that can play with out the ball just as well as he does with the ball which Reke can do as well. I think Petrie has to inquire and get the Maloofs involved as well as Webb to attempt to convince CP to come to Sacramento and play. Can you imagine CP, Reke, Greene, Thompson/Landry & Cousins/Okafor.......Wow.

I think this could get it done.....Dalembert, Garcia, Whiteside, Beno, Casspi and a 1st rd pick for CP Posey and Okafor.
This couldn't be executed until after Aug. 17 when Dalembert and Whiteside (Aug. 8) can officially be traded the Kings lineup would be..........

Paul/? Sloan
Reke/ ? (someone would have to be signed at both guards position to backup CP & Reke)
Greene/Posey/Wright
Thompson/Landry
Okafor/Cousins

The weakness would be the backups in the backcourt but Reke can play PG and Posey & Greene can spend time a SG plus there are still some veteran FAs available to bring off the bench; at PG you have Jason Williams/Acie Law and at SG you still have JR Giddens, Roger Mason, Larry Hughes and Gerald Green.

Petrie & the Maloofs should at the very least give CP a call and try to sell Sacramento and the young nucleus they have to CP. They have nothing to lose.......
