I like it. Westphal needs to stick with it though, not yank em back and forth to starter, bench or limited minutes.

He'll look good coming off the bench. Don't see any problems there. In fact both he can JT will make an excellent combination coming off the bench. We might have one of the better bench combos in the league in terms of spark plug style energy and rebounding.

I like it. Let Donte play D and Casspi can come in off the bench and score.

I like it as well. It just makes sense.

The key to it working for me is Donte being consistent with his outside shot. If he can be a consistent threat, then I'm all for this.

If Donte can become that defensive stopper then this will work beautifully! He will be the 3rd or 4th or 5th option out there so scoring wont be as important in his role as defense/rebounds/steals. If he does develop that consistent jumper than we got ourselves a starting 5!

I was pulling for Casspi for the SF position early on but Greene makes a bit more sense as a starter. Greene has the height and versatility advantage over Casspi.

I like Casspi as a reserve. His energy and "all out mentality" is really ideal and sensible for the bench reserve role. Kinda reminds me about Manu coming off the bench despite having the talent as a legitimate starter.

The only thing I want to see Greene to improve on his ability to hit shots consistently and REBOUNDING THE DAMN BALL!! I would like to think a guy as tall as Greene manages to pull down, lets say.....6-8 REBOUNDS per game. It's kinda pathetic to see Greene rebounds like a softy. If Durant can get over 7 REBOUNDS per game, Greene should be able to that too.

If for some reason Greene does not fulfill these goals: make shots + rebound, I'm all for giving Casspi the starting position.

Word to this. This was why I was more for Omri starting, but if it works, it works. Long as they both get significant time.

Agreed. With Thompson,Casspi and Garcia off the bench you have 3 high energy guys who can come in and change the game. All 3 bring different things to the table. When Dalembert comes back thats another quality player off the bench.

Not too excited about Greene though. I think he'll continue to be inconsistent. Hopefully he can make a difference defensively and knock down his open shots.

I've been saying this since last year. Greene is a better defender and if he can annoy whoever's star we are playing then we bring in the spark plug in Casspi, I could see that being an excellent strategy. Think of Casspi as more of a Manu type of player.
