Positives: Whiteside, Landry, Beno, rebounding (I guess)
Negatives: Everything else. UGH.

Point Blank: Evans pisses me off! Dude really needs to work on that shot of his instead of playing shoot around with guys who can already shoot! He needs to lock himself in the gym and just shoot. That stupid 1/4 fadeaway he does is (Please Use More Appropriate Word)! If he cant develop a consistent shot then teams are going to play him much smarter than they did last season. He dribbles to much and does wayyy toooo many iso's (for a guy who cant shoot a lick).
This Kings team looks EXACTLY like the same team last year. Donte is another guy that pisses me off. WHY cant this guy hit a consistent shot! All he wants to do is shoot three's! And bricks about 2/3's of them. Cousins cant jump over a credit card. If he wants to be great he needs to firstly get that body in shape and tight. He needs more lift in his jumping. Cousins just needs to be fit and become alot more athletic than he is now.
Throughout the bad mouthing and posting there are a lot of positives though. Kings are trying to correct mistakes and are shooting better as a team. The energy is there BUT the 'out playing other teams' isn't. Whiteside, once in game shape to me can really be a threat. Too bad PW won't play him that much
Darnell Jackson is a stud
Love what he brings in the game! Omri Casspi is awsome LOVE his energy and how he seems never to take a break off plays!
All in all, Kings win 32 games this season at mid best

Well, this game was just down right pointless, preseason or not. Landry/Whiteside/Beno looked pretty good, other than that, eh....o_o.

Eh, it's preseason, no Omri and Cisco, Tyreke didn't look like he was going 100% because he doesn't want to get hurt in a preseason game, etc. I think Whiteside actually might be more ready to play than DMC though. Whiteside looks like he has more skills than people gave him credit for and can have an impact on defense and the boards already. I thought Landry does a decent job at the 3 but I didn't like that when he's there we have like 0 3 pointer shooting. I also like Darnell Jackson a lot, that guy can play.

The players are clearly cruising at this point, especially Evans, and they clearly cant wait for the games to actually mean something. Some of you really need to calm down.
I guess the good news is that some of us have lowered our expectations.

I agree with this statement. Seems a significant number of Kings fans actually thought this team had a shot at the playoffs. I would prefer to see this dream crushed now than when the season starts, then everyone starts freaking out and demanding that all our players get traded.

I still think we have a shot at the playoffs. Is it likely? No, but anything is possible at this point. The team has improved in some areas, and we all need to remember this is preseason and does not have much meaning. So take what happens with a grain of salt.

That's fine. The problem is in a month when the games start meaning something and people start freaking out. I'm not saying you're in this group but there are a number of fans who start going insane once it's clear the Kings aren't going to be good. The I have to spend the next six months reading about how the entire roster is a disaster, or such and such player is a bust, or we should trade anyone and everyone to get Stephen Jackson (based on a real post).

It's a young team, what can you really expect? The major positive is the Kings do have pretty much everything a team could need in order to improve by leaps and bounds in terms of personnel should the opportunity arise.
