I mean everytime he can he talks on and on about Cousins, and him being close with the Kings obviusly i'm sure he won't mind in between the gigs he does at NBA TV.

This could be a very good solution.

I don't think that's a bad idea, but they brought in Cousins old HS coach for this reason. It doesn't seem to be working. Also DMC is at an age, especially in his hoops career, where he's been able to dictate what he wants to do. This is culture shock in some ways to him.

While I expect he will have growing pains I do expect that his attitude will be better. It's the pointing that's getting to me. It's the feeling of entitlement that I don't like. It's like the NBA owes him something. It's in his body language. If he can shake that he'll be ok.

Is C-Webb the best solution? I heard Grant talking about this last night that C-Webb was extremely difficult to coach throughout his tenure with the Kings. It just never got out to the media, I guess - because I never heard about it.

Hell no. You're asking for way too much. Cousins isn't going anywhere, period, so that's a pipe dream. Then you want to add Landry, our only other consistent scorer besides Tyreke Evans, and our starting center? Please remember we had Gooden and let him go for nothing. We have no interest in him so the deal centers around Bogut. But Bogut is as injury prone as they come: 36 games played in 2008-2009, 69 games played in 2009-2010, and already missing tons of time due to injuries this year. The Kings have had their experience with injury prone guys and we're not going back to that, especially at the cost of the best center in last year's draft. I don't know how people convince themselves that ideas like this one are realistic enough to put out there.

It's well documented that Webb was a Prima Donna. He did what he wanted to do for the most part. I don't think it was until much later that he started to get it, but he still did what he wanted to a point. The difference is Webber was a franchise player and he's very media savvy. Webber is also intelligent. He knew what he could get away with and what he couldn't. Boogie isn't there.

We also have Shareef on the coaching staff. I don't think that it's lack of a role model that is Cousins' issue. He needs to decide he wants to be a professional NBA player. Professional is the word here.

Shareef got moved up to asst. GM.

I'd really like to see Bill Walton work with the bigs we have. Wasn't he supposed to do a bunch of games for the Kings? He's done 1 so far!

Yep, 100% accurate. I just hope Westphal isn't the Nellie to our Warriors! :banghead:

Just because SAR is in the front office doesn't mean that he can't talk/work with the players.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

^^ He's been to practices working with JT and Jackson surprisingly. I heard of Kings trying to reach out to The Dream to work with Hassan and Demarcus. If they are serious they'd bring him in as a PD' coach
