Second, I really doubt Garcia or Beno are gone, but thing both will go would just be out of this world.

Maybe one, but I highly doubt both. And I doubt it's for a big. Maybe if we got an Iggy level guy and we sent both packing. But I just don't see it.

In fact, I'd bet you that both Garcia and Beno are here past the trade deadline. It's possible they move, but I bet the odds are that they stay.

Landry cant be tradex back to the rockets yet. It has to have been 1 full year since the dealt him in order to recieve him back in a trade.

Keep tossing those pearls before swine, and I'll keep watching a team with too many bigs and not enough shooters.

Now, see, I'd forgotten this was a rule. Guess this takes out the Brooks idea as well, which isn't bad, because I think he's overrated as all heck.

Less they give JT instead, which would just be pants-on-head stupid.

I don't even understand why we wanted Taylor. I guess he fits well with Pooh Jeter on our bench fast-break style offense, but we already have a 2 guard whose main weapon is getting to the basket (Tyreke). We have so many weaknesses on this team. Why are we just loading up on bigs and now 2 guards?!?! Such a stupid trade. We need a shooter/true point guard. Not Jermaine Taylor.

All about the $$$. Amick reported there is $$$ coming the Kings way in the deal. Probably enough to buy out or pay Taylors deal and have some left over for the Maloofs to slide into a high priced hookers g-string.

Is this deal even official yet, or is he going to NJ after all?

The Kings received Taylor practically for free. So I doubt they view Taylor as a legitimate asset of the future. More than anything, they will either:

(a) keep him until end of season + waive him (by waiving him: his contract becomes fully unguaranteed)
(b) use him as filler for a bigger trade
(c) play him + keep him as a piece going forward

I take my chances with (a). Most likely, they will play him now and then but at the end of the season, the Kings will decide that Taylor isn't a piece moving forward. Also (b) could be a possibility as well.

Option (c) is the least likely imo.

jeramine taylor for kings 2nd round pick?

If we trade our 2nd round pick for chase budinger that’s good deal for the kings but if we trade it for Jermaine taylor that was a bad bad deal for the kings and good deal for the rockets.

Is that the kings 2011 2nd round draft pick? If yes, that pick is too high to trade for Jermaine taylor. The way kings played this year and based on our records that pick is probably #31 pick - #33 pick, the likes of Nolan smith, Austin freeman, e’twaun moore, demetri McCamey, chris wright are possible available on that pick and I prefer any of those guys over Jermaine taylor.

We already have Antoine wright and luther head, they both sucks and those players are better than Jermaine taylor. If we suck on drafting rookies I will do the trade but Kings GM petrie is good in drafting rookies(for the last 2 years), so why they trade the high 2nd round pick for Jermaine taylor? Petrie can get better player than Jermaine taylor on that pick.

The pick is top55 protected, so the Rockets will never see it. The Rockets also send cash to the Kings, which will pay them every dollar of his remaining contract. In essence the Kings get a free look at Taylor, which is why this is a good move, with absolutely no down side.

This reminds me of the Hilton Amrstrong trade, where we later used him as a trade chip. I dont know why everyone thinks this is the only trade thats gonna be done, so they think its a bad one

This was basically the kings doing the rockets a solid that has no negative impact doing things like thisfor other teams out there is just good buisness.

Petrie and Morey are BFF's. We all know this. :P
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
