Honestly, I don't think Tyreke should get surgery, I just think he needs to take a further backseat. He's still the best 2-guard on the team and usually his set shots are looking good, so just let Cousins run the offense until he gets his legs back under him.

Amazing performance by Cousins, albeit those last two shots (layup by Cousins and three by Omri) were dumbass shots that were lucky. Great energy, great comeback. Love it.

I would call neither of them bad shots, Caspi was wide open and Cousins threw the ball up after being fouled.

Also to a few posts above I really wouldn't compare Webber and Cousins, the only thing they share are passing and court awareness. Webber was an athletic freak who used that to score while Cousins has to get by players with his craftiness.

Cousins threw it up before the wistle sounded, and he shouldn't have held it that long or danced with it so much, I was suprised it wasn't a travel.

Omri was somewhat open, but Carter wasn't THAT far back, and we had something like 18 seconds on the clock? Somewhat of the same situation that Garcia had in the Warriors game, cept he was more open, and he missed.

Like I said, great they made them, but if they hadn't, dumb plays.

And I chose to watch the Seahawks/Rams game instead. Figures.

At lease the bits and pieces I caught flipping back and forth were encouraging. Suns certainly were giving the Kings many opportunities throughout the night. I just wish I watched all the way to the end with the Kings getting the W.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I really don't think he should get the surgery if he doesn't need it. What he should do is take the next two months off and rest. Hopefully that will be enough.

I think i'd have to agree with this. Somehow I just don't like the idea of surgeries and rehab and all that stuff. Especially with the luck THIS team has with injuries. We're not going anywhere with or without him this year, so why not just let him get some rest?

The thing is that this is a recurring problem with Tyreke. If the surgery gives him a shot at not having to deal with it on this level ever again, or a for a good long time, do it! I remember a few years ago when Brad Miller let his get so bad they basically just severed it. I think, I can't really remember. That or it got so bad it severed. I vaguely remember that.

I was there tonight and I just wanted to say that the crowd was going insane. What really pissed me off was that they couldn't defend the pick and roll in the 2nd quarter when Gortat posted 11 or 12 in the first half and I thought another scrub would torch us but in the end Casspi's 3 was just COLD BLOOOODED

Our future is looking bright with DeMarcus Cousins and Tyreke Evans. (Mainly DMC unless Reke heals up and plays better).

If only Tyreke could pass like Jwill55!! He'd be passin' it to Cousins for the dunk all the time!!

Let's also draft a player who can dunk like this lmao!!

Yeah I was at the game. It was really quite similar to the Denver game where we were just shooting horribly. The main difference is that we got that second wind of momentum really from being a home game (and more so not in Denver) and from Pooh's D on Nash. That really changed things because Nash was absolutely carving us up before that. Granted, he was still pretty awesome throughout. But really, we worked harder on our rotations, and it certainly helped that we were getting better coverage with Pooh pressuring Nash tight on the ball.

Over all, I said that that shot against Memphis would help in saving our season, and I think it was pretty huge. With that said, probably the biggest difference tonight (other than having better outside threats in crunch time) was that we have gone repeatedly to Demarcus and Tyreke in crunch time this year. Tyreke hasn't been Tyreke and Demarcus simply hasn't been ready. He was ready tonight and that was ultimately the biggest difference-maker.

Im all for trading landry to bring in another shooter. This game showed what spreading the floor does for this team.
